Toys R Us Ad 4/13-4/19 (B1G1 40% off all games)

Will this work on clearance games? My local TRU has Kid Icarus 3DS for 40% off and would pick that up with something else if it stacked.

no it will not since this is considered one promotion and clearance is considered a promotion on it own it would be double dipping. When they had the b1 g1 40% off less then two weeks ago clearance games were excluded as well.

Will Toy's R Us match Target's offer of $40 gift card for a 3DS XL?  Target's promotion will be going on the same week...

Wish they just kept the $50 deal going instead of $25 for the Wii U bundle. I'd pick one up next week (payday) but alas, I'll have to wait around for the next deal.

Someone beat me to the punch so I am just going to say something else....Anyone planning on getting that BL2 Vita bundle? Has anyone even demo'd the Vita 2.0 or seen one on display anywhere?

I cant justify buying a vita, also I played borderlands 2 to much on 360, I think back to my psp that I only bought to play kh birth by sleep, wanted to get other games but never did

Will TRU do a pm for one game and still get 40% off the other? Or would that be a YMMV? It seems like the register would probably do it, if you can get a cashier to do it. After not getting the deal to work @ Target since one of my games was apparently not a part of the promo, I'll probably just to with this deal. The only problem is that one of the games I want costs more at TRU than Amazon and a few other places. If I can PM and still get the 40% off the other, I'll just stick with that.

with any promos at toys r us unlike other stores the computer automatically kick the promo out with price matches since that is a promo itself in toys r us eyes. so if you price match a game then more then likely the other non price match game will come up regular price instead 40% off

I haven't had any luck getting any TRU promotions to stack with price matching in the past. :c They're pretty strict.

So I'm seeing two different things in the two TRU ad posts. One says the buy 1 get 1 40% off is all week, the other says it's just two days. Can someone please clarify?

I saw.skylanders for $21.xx at sams club right now. I think it was just last gen versions I didnt check next gen. not sure if thats relevant to anyone
So could you return the more expensive one?
What's to stop TRU from taking the discounted one back and leaving you with the full price one?

I was thinking about doing this for two 3ds versions than returning the second one for the prorated discount
I bought 5 skylanders starter kits today using 5 mcdonalds coupons. The cashier scanned both codes on each coupon (the $10 off the game and the $1 off a character but I didn't buy any characters).

My receipt says the return value for the 1st and 3rd game [both full price at $32.50 but attached to a 40% off game ($19.50)] is $25.99. Not sure how they came to that price, but that what the receipt says.

I hope this post made sense. I'd post a pic of the receipt but don't know how. Hopefully someone finds this helpful.

$32.49 + $19.49 = $51.98

Half of that is your return value of each game bought with the promo $25.99.

Can you use two $10 coupons in one transaction?
As long as you're buying 2 items that take the coupon, yes. It might be a great deal, but not very ethical, and might even be considered fraud. It's one thing to return the 2nd item to get the pro-rate (which might be arguably unethical, but just about anyone would consider it, so I won't complain about that), but if you're using a coupon on an item you are planning on returning in order to get that money back (including the amount of the coupon), then that is highly unethical and could constitute fraud. If you only use one coupon, then that's one thing, but if you're using a coupon on the second item that you plan on returning, then that's something completely different.
