Didn't see this posted, but I'm sure many of us got the same e-mail, so ymmv. Type in your zip code to see if you're close to any of the eligible stores Seems like they're Gamestops that are close to Walmart, at least for me.

Wanted to add, the Game Informer magazines now have a coupon for an extra 10% bonus trade in on any items on the first page, this might stack. Keyword might. Will find out tomorrow.

Some in the Philly area,  Some in the Pittsburgh area.  That's the only places that I know zipcodes for that show something,

when they had the extra 20% for Walmart I traded in two copies of next gen fifa and the 20% and extra $10 promo for next gen both stacked so no reason this one shouldn't either

read through the gamestop thread at the end of march and you will also find out confirmation that during the walmart one during the last week of march people were indeed confirming getting the preorder bonus percentage on top of the walmart extra percentage, so it is hit or miss but the computers did allow it. Gamestop is getting desperate and trying to new come up with new marketing ploys with walmart accepting trade ins now considering a large percentage of gamestops are relative close to walmarts.

Perhaps try using punctuation in the future, as none of what you said makes any sense. Are you trying to say there was a promo AT Walmart? Or that there was a promotion AT Gamestop that was somehow related to Walmart? :whistle2:k

I know the list given above said no South Carolina stores, but my local one is according to the email I got, and when I searched on the store locator from the email, it had a ton of others too.

 
Yeah, my local store is doing this. I haven't gone there yet but plan to at some point this weekend. But it's sad that the first thing I think of when I see this is "how much did the trade-in values tank for this?" These deals never really feel like deals in the end. Hopefully it's not too bad though.

None in Georgia? I definitely got the bonus yesterday, and I live in Georgia.

The associate speculated it may be for GameStops near Walmarts, and judging from the two GameStops in my city that are doing the promotion, she's probably right.

Boy, this is making me hesitate trading in the games I was planning on bringing to a local GS today for 30% extra. I'll have to call the store in VA that I've visited in the past to verify if they're running the 50% extra this weekend.

EDIT: No-go on VA. Ah well, at least I don't have to worry about driving much farther out.
