Pacific Rim [3D Blu-ray] - $17.99 @ Amazon

Thanks for the post, but it was $14.99 last week at Best Buy and Amazon as well.

And yes, the 3D is very good on this one.

Amazon currently has the 4-disc version of Pacific Rim for $17.99 (Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD, UV garbage). I hear the 3D is very good for a post-conversion job.

Amazon linky

)-(
It is, and this is a great price. I don't think I've seen it under $15, and that was on Black Friday.

Bought this for $7 on Black Friday....although I guess it wasn't the 4-disc version.

Still haven't watched it.  :(

Whoa, where? The 3D version right? I remember Amazon/Best Buy having it and WWZ for $15 and everyone making a huge deal about that.

And you are missing out, I thought it was a fantastic movie. Even if the plot was a bit thin those were some amazing effects and the 3D was fantastic.

It was at Best Buy.

I've been meaning to get around to watching it at some point (which is why I bought it, lol). I've just been busy, I suppose. Oh well, if what you said is any indication, I'll be in for a treat when I do watch it.

He got the 2D version for $7... the 3D has never been under $15 to my knowledge.  That's the price I got it for from BBY during their BF sales last year.

Oh, I didn't even realize that. Yeah, I have the 2D version. Sorry for that confusion.

This movie, like Avatar, is a good way to show off how pretty your big screen HDTV is AND to push the 3D capability. Story is decent (seems to be done enough that a sequel is coming), but action is incredible. It's monsters fighting giant robots, for effing sake!
