Deception IV $47.91(PS3) Amazon

I believe the original retail price was 50 wasn't it? I was pretty sure when I added it to my Amazon Wishlist back in March that it wasn't anywhere near $60

Shows $60 on BBY and other sites.

This looks flawed but like it might be kind of neat. Not $50-60 neat, but under $20 neat.

 
I really want this but 30 is my price point. Not too far off though.

Wish I had the money to burn and buy it MSRP so I can support this kind of non mainstream game but money is tight.

 
the price was $49.99 before it released. I preordered when it was at $49.99 for the PS3 version (I also had like 460 in gift cards/amazon points anyway). Not sure if it went to $60 after though. Still it sits in my backlog but next week i'm gonna be all over it. But yea this is the cheapest i've seen it, regardless.

I think my Best Buy ps3 preorder was $60 (shows $47.99 after GCU in my order history).

I've played a bit of it...the first chapter or two... It's definitely flawed (feels limited sometimes, and it can be uber frustrating when trap sequences don't play out like it seems they should...or when you can't get the timing right and the trap misses either because there's a delay between the button press and trap triggering or because, even with the ability to see a close-up of your opponent, the view isn't good enough to see when they're in position).

It's still a cool niche game, though. It has a strong ps2 feel to it but with updated graphics. A bit of sadistic fun.

 
Waiting for a $20-$25 price, though I wonder how many copies will be available. I can't imagine they printed a ton of copies and I believe Trapt may have had a limited run. I picked up Trapt for $1 at my local Pawn Shop and been meaning to play it which also made me interested in Deception IV.

Still I'm sure it will continue to drop as demand will drop as well.

Maybe due to credit you had or some special/deal going on but it was 59.99 as the pre order price.

Amazon and Wal-Mart had a pre-order price of $50. Then later it went up to $60.

Amazon didnt because I had it pre ordered until I decided 60 was too high. I cant speak for walmart but when I was shopping around prices ive never seen it for 50 bucks. They have it for 55 right now so I doubt they raised the price along with amazon after release.

But how often do you see stores raise prices on games?
 
Yea i only preordered cuz it was at $49.99 so i must've lucked out and saw it for that price. But my email they send when you order your game showed i paid $49.99 for it. And then subtracting my credit. But it was $49.99 for at least one day that much i am sure. And each day it drops and i haven't played it is me losing more money haha
