Sony's E3 press conference

So Dualshockers.com posted a rumor for what Sony's E3 press conference is going to be like... however it is most likely not true.

However, seeing that rumor makes me think about what a dream E3 would look like as far as PS4 gamer goes.

Honestly if we got all of those announcements it would be a dream and honestly a death blow to MS. My honest opinion is Uncharted may be 2 years away minimum. Also, I don't think there will be a last guardian announcement.

An E3 lineup of:

UC4
Syphon Filter
Wipeout
TLOU2
Gran Turismo
Quantic Dream game
God of War 4

That would be sweet, but dreaming

What would be a perfect E3 for you guys?

Dang they're really milking the god of war series arent they?

Really like the idea of this thread. If the rumors are true it will be huge.

Something I would love to see from Sony at E3, but it won't happen.

Fallout 4 & Half Life 3 both announced and PS4 exclusives!
A ton of new AAA IPs that are exclusive
Vita Remote Play works with all PS3 games now!
Vita Tv arrives in the West
PS Now included with PS+(my plus expires in 2017


E3 in general, I'd love to see a new MK, FarCry, Just Cause.(I know most of these are possible)

Keep dominating this generation they've got to keep the hype train rolling and really get big games out in rapid succession from this fall on.

Otherwise MS will narrow the gap, especially in the US, once stuff like Halo, Gears etc. starts coming out and bringing in that crowd. Sony is still weak on exclusive shooters, and those move a lot of consoles.
 
ehh Destiny signing exclusive content with just PS4 will be a strong point but Xbox is getting a lot of good exclusives: Quantum Break and Sunset Overdrive. Granted the later will probably come multiplatform if the first does well. I think it will be about even come 2016  and be less 1 sided like PS3/360 which in the end I think is better for all .

Are you saying the Destiny content will go multiplatform or Quantum Break and Sunset? Cause I'm pretty sure Remedy is now owned by MS and Sunset was made specifically for Xbox.

Remedy is an independent studio but I am pretty sure Microsoft helped a lot to fund Quantum Break and Sunset Overdrive. So I don't think there will be a port of these games to the PS4 especially if Microsoft owns these IPs.

Wasn't sure about Remedy. Thought i heard or read something about MS owning them. My mistake. I know MS put a lot into Sunset and Insomniac has tweeted it'll always be an Xbox exclusive. So I guess the previous poster was referring to Destiny content. Which I do hope it comes to Xbox. All this Sony talk from Bungie makes me think they're turning their backs on their roots and screwing the people who made them over.

i wouldnt call quantum break and sunset overdrive "good" just yet.

quite frankly sunset overdrives gameplay video looked kinda boring imo. dead rising with R&C weapons

Sunset Overdrive being multiplatform as Insomniac owns the IP like Titanfall owned by EA.

I have a hard on for Remedy's games and if Sunset is DR3 + Ratchet then I am sold.

Remedy isn't "owned" by MS but I think MS had helped them with Alan Wake and considering Quantum is going to have a TV show tie in (MS original a la Halo) I am doubtful we will see it on PS4. In all honesty from the get go PS has been about the Dev's and getting lots of quirky indie games more so than MS.
Destiny is an Activision + Bungie game for once maybe Sony shelled out the money to get something more so than MS. Activision are putting A LOT of money into Destiny I read somewhere close to 1/2 a billion (granted this is a 10yr contract). I spoke to a manager at Gamestop and he was telling me no one is preordering COD so I am betting Destiny will be their new cash cow.

Well It came out today that Sunset overdrive was an Xbox exclusive due to the developer being able to retain the rights to the game and series... A little confusing to me as I thought Sony was very good about not doing that and Microsoft was the opposite.  Big deal coming from a developer that has had a long relationship with Sony.

 
I don't know with all the people leaving at sony exclusive studios i wonder if Sony isn't the great guys they try to portray themselves as. Might be looking too much into it

Typically if a company fully funds an IP they retain the rights to it. MS doesn't seem to care which makes no sense to me. I guess it could be a positive for them at this time when the majority of developers appear interested in maintaining/owning control of their IPs.

It's why Indie development has been so big, and why I was a little shocked at Sony not doing something since right now most indie publishers are stating that Sony's Self Publishing program is better than Microsoft's

 
Conflicting rumors i've been seeing.  On one side, the company that supposedly cut the E3 trailer for the new Parappa Game said they also worked on a new E3 trailer for Last Guardian.  On the other side, The "leak" sheet of every company's conference/floor games did not list either Parappa or LG.

While I would prefer to believe the LG news, sony also tweeted that seeing LG at E3 would be as likely as seeing Halo on PS4, so who knows.

I want to see Sony bundled the Playstation camera with the PS4 and sell it for $400 just to troll Microsoft.

I kid, but I want to see the Uncharted 4 and The Last of Us 2. Also some gameplay footage of The Last of Us remastered.

The Last of Us remastered is a for sure thing... probably play it on stage. Uncharted 4 may have a little bit more for the trailer, but I'm worried with all the people that left that they may have started over, so there may not be much there. It would be quite the E3 if they actually showed gameplay, and honestly Sony wins if somehow they get Uncharted out by this fall, heck even next year. Most likely 2016 on that one.

I bet we see a lot of remastered games coming... I.E. GTAV, Mass Effect.. etc

insomniac doesnt own the IP to resistance or ratchet and clank.

 
I want high profile, Japanese-developed PS4 games from a revitalized Capcom, Konami, SquareEnix, and Bandai Namco in 2014 and early 2015.  Plus Fallout 4.

 
They could make a slimmer cheaper model aimed at China (now that their console ban is up) and other emerging markets. A cheap console/Bluray player could sell well in those markets where most families can't afford next gen consoles.

Besides fallout 4 and the last guardian... seems like every you stated are obvious for the show... In fact I don't see a lot of getting conference time and will just be played on the floor as they are either close to release or already announced. Batman will be playable, Minecraft is set for quarter 3-4 as recently announced, order is the same boat, and same with Driveclub and deep down.

Yeah, I don't think there's going to be a ton of real surprises at the Sony or Microsoft press conferences. Kinda saddened by the lack of new IP I expect to see...

I feel like both will have something up there sleeves... For instance, several of Sony's first party studios are working on games that have not been announced. Like for instance it is rumored one is working on a new Syphon Filter game, Sony Bend is working on a new project, Sony London is working on one... etc. Sure we know some of the big guns and what they are working on, but no one thought Naughty Dog was working on two games when they announced Uncharted 3 and the last of us. There will definitely be a surprise or two.

I am just excited to hear more about PS Now and whether they will have a subscription service. Not too interested in a rental service because of how cheap some of the older games are to get used. I could also see a Operating system upgrade for the PS4 with Youtube compatibility.

 
I think the big surprise will be a legit Uncharted 4 trailer with release in 2015. Also think we will see teasers of Fallout 4 and the new Mass Effect for both PS4/XB1. GTA V remake will be announced releasing this fall and maybe the ME trilogy remaster this fall as well. TLOU will also get a confirmed date for this fall.

Do you mean TLOU2? They have stated the remastered TLOU will be releasing this summer.

I really hope this gen doesn't turn out to be a bunch of remasters of last gen games. I got of seeing HD remakes last gen, especially since they were so half assed, and even though LoU is one of my favorite games of all time, I was hoping the Remaster would be closer to what SE did with TR Definitive Edition.

I'm excited to see more of Uncharted 4 and The Order, and hopefully The Last Guardian and something from Sony Santa Monica since they're done with GoW (I think?).

Thought you might like to see this...

and a lot of jumps in sytems gets you remastered ports... and I am fine. I would rather have the PS4 a year before they should have released it and get some games and remastered copies of games then a year later with too many games to play at once. I'm fine with it. and the article also talks about rumors of cheaper PS4 copies with the PS3 copy.

Sorry, I meant the remaster. I wasn't aware they had specifically said summer for a release (but even so there is no date yet).

And I don't want a lot of remakes either, just the ME trilogy. GTA V will happen cause of it's popularity but I'm not personally excited for that one.

I never played ME 2 or 3, I also rushed GTA V because I was playing it right before I got my PS4, So I can't wait. Same with TLOU, started it and never got back to it and then got my PS4... I think these remasters are for people like me. I was an xbox 360 first guy, and so i missed out on a lot of experiences that I really want to play again. There are plenty out there like that and with PS4 dominating, some of these just make sense.

Maybe we will get an announcement that H1Z1 will be coming to PS4. Still waiting for a ModNationRacers and LittleBigPlanet announcement also.

Was thinking since Microsoft just completed their 180 with the removal of the Kinect. Wouldn't it be great if Sony announced a PS4 bundle that included the PS4 Camera and kept the price $399.

Wanna see how Sony responds to M$ pricecut.

Wanna see more about Madden NFL 15 on PS4.

Edit: Oh yea, more about Final Fantasy 15! & a release date. My guess would be Spring 2015 for NA.
