I got two of these coupons today for picking up 2 seasons of Veronica Mars on DVD. The register asks for an email address and when your transaction is done, you get an immediate email coupon.

Only redeemable in store and only redeemable from the email or a printout of the email.

Already used mine during the first week of it. I bought all 3 seasons of VM for $30, got the coupon, cancelled my order, and re-ordered all three for...$20. Somehow, two of the three got knocked down in price. Combined with their $10 price point...I made out.

It's what I did. I ordered what I wanted, checked my email when they got the order, the coupon was in a border there, so I immediately cancelled the order, recreated the order and used the code, and it worked. That was on the first day of the sale, though. They may have fixed it by now so it discounts only one.

 
So it has worked in store and online for people?

Odd that this isn't advertised anywhere. Any idea how much you have to spend to get the coupon? They have some comic styled steel books I'd consider getting with that coupon with the (apparent) online version...

It knocks off $5 from $9.99 or more when you buy least the same amount beforehand. I spent roughly $30 on original order before the coupon got sent to me in my "yeah, we got your order" email.

 
I got coupons with my $7.99 Veronica Mars season sets... Of course, they're going back today and getting rebought, since they're on sale for 9.99 this week, the coupon will make them $5 each instead of 7.99. Then I'll get 2 more coupons and buy my wife the DVD copy of the movie (she already has it in VUDU in HDX, so no reason to buy the Blu of it).

It's worth a shot. Just place your order, check your email IMMEDIATELY when it comes, if the coupon code is there, go and IMMEDIATELY cancel your original order and replace it with your code.

 
Got an email for "We've received your order" but no coupon, I tried ordering a 16$ bluray movie. Is coupon a separate email??

EDIT: Is the coupon coming with the movie???? or should i try a TV show....

Just placed an order ($15 blu ray), see no sign of this $5 code in the "we received your order" email...

When I did it with mine, I bought all 3 seasons of Veronica Mars for $9.99 apiece online. Maybe there IS a minimum price or quantity you have to buy...but I placed the order, checked my e-mail, and it was there in an advertisement banner just beside the order details.

Best Buy won't care. They don't charge you until the item ships. They only verify payment form after the order is placed, which takes a few minutes.

I'm not worried about being charged, more that I don't want my account flagged for a bunch of order/cancellations in a row. We all know there is no clear algorithm for how Best Buy does things.

 
They may also see that you may have used it once already. Just an FYI. I tried to dupe the same thing and get another deal out of it, but the code was a one-use, one person deal.

Okay, I looked into it on the ad. It says "Select TV titles $9.99 and up" qualify you to get $5 off your next movie or TV purchase of $9.99 and up. Clicked the "Learn More" link, and it comes up as invalid on Bestbuy.com.

Also, I saw that Best Buy changed their FREE SHIPPING option this week (after so long) from $25 and up to $35 and up. :whistle2:( Lame. This made Best Buy a step ahead of Amazon aside from PMing places more easily...

Interesting, well Veronica Mars must have applied, but the link being down means they may have noticed it wasn't working right (taking too many discounts). I'll have to look into this further...

I feel for those of you who aren't Elite/Elite Plus members and have to deal with shipping cost. A tip to get to elite sooner, combine gift cards if you have them. Can really add up quick. I should totally start selling customer pin's of my massive gift card combinations to people who want to get to elite plus for the year. lol

There's a display set up in-store for this. Among the eligible titles were Psych Season 6, Warehouse 13 Seasons 1-3, and Dexter Season 1.

I did it in store on Psych and got a coupon. Went to use the coupon on Warehouse 13 Season 1, but the cashier didn't see the coupon and had to void the order and redo it. I ended up getting 2 coupons e-mailed (yes, it e-mails before the checkout is complete) though I have not checked if the voided transaction coupon works.

Good to know. I tried doing Veronica Mars season 1 for in store pick up and Warehouse 13 season 1 for shipping and didn't get a code but might just try in store.
