TMNT seems like it could be a good co-op game for me and my wife to play.  Thanks, OP!

I thought the same but it really isn't... Luckily I only rented it. Game play lags and freezes and there were a couple instances where my character wouldn't move at all. Also slow load times. At least that's my experience with it....

anyone have an opinion on :wiiu: Wipeout?

I'm playing that right now, finishing up these last two time attacks. I've only experienced the lag and bad load times. This game isn't worth the $10 I spent on it at Target. A huge disgrace to TMNT games. Luckily BB is giving $6.40 for this pos.

Its wipeout......on the wii u......do you need to know more than that really?

How much do you hate your free time? If you completely disrespect it, spend some of it playing Wipeout.

TMNT was bad, but nowhere near as bad as the Spongebob game. Both easy and relatively quick 1000s, but the grind at the end of the Spongebob game... ugh. 4-5 hour campaign, and then another five hours of playing the same level to get the rest of the achievements.

Holy shaz that Wipeout game has a trade-in of $20 at best buy this week.  Guess that's an extra $10 off my Mario Kart tomorrow!

Yup Wii U.  Just got back from BB trading in a copy (it's 50% extra trade in this week) and I walked out with $19.50 on a gift card.  Tempted to go back and buy the second copy they had too.

Well a few of these have been on my sub $10 radar for a while. Just set some holds all at the same store (for once!) for Angry Birds for 360 (not in OP but also $9.99) and Vita and TMNT for 360. Passed on TMNT last time it was this low but I guess I'll bite now. No used on 2 out of the 3 and the extra drive to the next store isn't worth the savings/hassle for a couple of dollars.

Is African Adventures similar to Shadows of Katmai?  Not a big hunting fan and don't really want to run around blowing away innocent African animals for sport or anything...but Shadows of Katmai was hilarious/awesome, platforming and battling hordes of ridiculously aggressive animals that act like they've been infected with the T virus.

Got my :ps3: Cabela via in store pickup, but I had to wait 20 minutes because the guy who put it on hold was at lunch at the time hid it behind a big Watch_Dogs promotional display.

im thinking about using a 5$ pur for angry birds.. as for wipeout i brought the only new copy in my area and flipped it for 20$. i was going to price match wipeout at bestbuy but they dont have anymore copys in stores anymore :(

bought this game just this afternoon, thanks op! :)

Picked up my games. Got really lucky. Only one of the three was a gut and was in good/new condition except for the terrible job they did peeling of the huge Gamestop price sticker. The last three or four games I've bought from Gamestop were all guts and I usually turn those down but the pricing was low enough that I had to accept it or pay more for actual new games.

I used a $5 coupon as well and the last of my credit. I didn't want to spend too much cash money on these amazing AAA games. :whistle2:D

Lol, I'm an idiot. There isn't any bears in Africa. I'm going to hunt some antelope then
I thought there could be a couple, so I googled "African Bears." Pro tip: Do not Google Image search "African Bears" with the safesearch off. I just got an eyeful of some large and dark hairy nude gentlemen. They seemed to be really really proud of their bodies. Good for them I suppose.

They're all pretty much extinct. Poor bears. :(

Look at this guy right here. Warning: Large hairy nude beast behind this spoiler

technically you are both right yet wrong. There is no Bears in Africa "NOW PRESENTLY" but there was a specie of bear known as the Atlas Bear which was native to Africa but was hunted to extinction

I feel the same way (I guess I'm a hippy, too...haha), but some of these Cabela games are just ridiculous/hilarious and fun to play. In Shadows of Katmai, almost every time you climb a cliff, you get attacked by swarms of vicious crows. It's like a hunting game/survival horror hybrid inspired by Alfred HItchcock.

(You could always pick up Afrika for your wife to balance things out...sort of the same thing but you're a National Geographic photographer taking photos of the animals instead...well, that and the meerkats won't viciously attack you like a pack of rabid starving wolverines in Afrika).

Yeah, I have Afrika and after playing Cabela for 30 minutes or so I have to think Afrika is the better game. That or I am just really not used to using the gun controller.

I have to share this wipeout review because it made me laugh out loud a couple times. Derek from CGRUndertow has a nervous breakdown trying to play this game. A local store I'm driving by tomorrow has this in stock preowned. I might have to pick it up just to experience the shittyness.

Okay, ended up picking up a copy of African Adventures for ps3.  A beat up, open box copy...but the game itself is sealed and everything appears to be there (and I don't really care about the gun, anyway...in fact, I almost would have rather gotten it without the gun since it's probably just going to end up stuffed with other old game peripherals taking up space...haha).  Thanks OP!
