does it come with the charging cable as well? I looked but couldn't find any information on whether or not it does. Anyone care to shed some light? Thank you.

I just read the description. "Stay ready for action with this cradle that keeps your Wii U GamePad fully charged using your existing charging cable (GamePad not included)" No cable included :(
 
I bought this a while back and it works great I highly recommend buying this for this price, works great for playing Wii games on the gamepad if that's something you're interested in maybe or even watching a show and just have it sitting there while you're playing games on your big TV.
