will these fight sticks work on the PS4?

or do I have to wait for those to finally release?
no they wont. mad catz made several statements last year that there last gen peripherals will only work on last gen and that whole new products lineups had to be made for the xbox one and ps4 both.

They already have tournament editions 2 sticks for xbox one for $200

But the first ps4 one from madcatz is the Ultra Street Fighter IV Stick but it wont be available until after August at the earliest. So there still along time before a ps4 one is released and based on the xbox one stick prices it will probably also start off at $200.

Thanks for posting OP! Like SevereTireDamage, I will also be waiting on the TE2 PS4 edition, gonna grab the FightStick Pro on 360 for now. Any comments on PC compatibility?

Has anyone tried the KE fight stick? How does it compare to the Arcade Pro?
Not sure if this helps you or not... It outlines the main differences between the Pro and KE.

I think as long as the 360 stick is wired it will work on a PC, same as any other wired 360 controller. My cheapo Mad Catz WWE brawlstick for 360 works on PC just fine.

Went through checkout at the last minute, looks like they sold out. Hopefully they run this promo again for Evo.

Ya almost got me this time, Mad Catz... almost...

I caved and ordered a ps3 Pro this morning. My kids fight over my fightstick now when they "play" UMVC3 so $80 was a too good of a deal to pass on to keep the peace.

How comfortable are you with snipping wires on your brand new stick? It's totally doable but I had to get through the mental hurdle of potentially "breaking" something that worked (nearly everything is fixable with money and time). Head over to the Tech Talk forums on shoryuken. They can help you out too.

Thanks; I bookmarked the installation guide and youtube videos I need to accomplish what I'm trying to do. I'm no stranger to modding (I was crimping my first CAT5 cables when I was 10) but I'm still scared to death of soldering (too many bad memories), which is why I'm taking the safe route and buying a solderless Cerberus. A friend of mine told me to just buy a Qanba Q4 and not even bother voiding the warranty, but I'm in too deep. Speaking of Shoryuken, I was there, and I almost went the "Need a modder in your area?" route, but unfortunately, no one is in Portland anymore (the closest is a modder from Salem).

I don't think you need to solder for a cerberus install.

Edit: I think I misread your post.

You're right, Cerberus doesn't require soldering, which is the main reason I chose this route. I also saw the Akishop, but I saw that it requires soldering. As superior as this PCB is to the Cerberus (especially with the newly released PS4 compatibility), I wanted something cheaper and completely solderless.
Who knows, one day I may overcome my solder phobia. :p

If you are referencing the ps360+ that is solder free unless you are adding an Xbox One pad to it...

So weird that ps3 stick. Can't be used on ps4. Hopefully a mod is released soon.

Also, the Cronus Max allows different controllers from different platforms play on different systems. From the website though, they did not mention PS3 controllers working with the PS4 yet.
