999 DS: Which endings to get? No spoilers please.

Just played through it for my first time and I got the Safe ending. WOW. This was absolutely incredible. Anyways, my question is... should I jump straight to the True ending or go back and play the other endings? Some people have told me the other endings aren't needed and other say they are pretty crucial. What do you guys/gals think?

They aren't necessary, pretty much only for funzies.  I did them after the true ending.

It's been a while since I played but I enjoyed all 5 endings since you can skip through quickly.  However, I think if you've already jumped to the Safe ending, go with Sub and then True.  Knife and Axe kindof have to be done first since they're, well, quick and don't add much

I got the Knife ending first. I recommend at least try getting some of the other endings since they all add at least something to the overall story. 

It has been awhile since I have played 999.  I still wish the Apple (iOS) version of 999 was available on the PSP or at least on Android devices.

I recommend getting at least one other ending (definitely Submarine or Knife) and then gauging if you enjoyed the experience. If you found it taxing, don't delay True and save the rest for whenever you develop the urge to play this game again.
