I bought this with the understanding that there are a few EyeToy like mini-games to play on it. Is that not the case? Just something silly for the kids to use. Then hopefully there will be more for it later as well of course. I won't be doing any streaming nonsense with it.

as far as I know only one game support the camera and that is just dance 2014 otherwise yea it mostly for streaming
 
OK, I guess Playroom has that robot thing which the kids would like and the pong game. That seems to be about it. I would have thought they'd have added more by now but all the future update seems to be about is just streaming stuff. Meh - maybe I should cancel, if it is not too late...

Why do they call it "Playroom" yet it has nothing much to play?

Edit: I requested a cancellation. If it becomes more useful I can always pick it up later. If it is too late to cancel and it ships, then, meh, I'll just keep it. Edit #2: looks like it cancelled out OK.

There is a couple other mini games that you would have to download (its free) from the PSN but nothing too notable. Other then zooming aliens I don't remember much about it.

 
Does it take up a USB port from the front of the console? I can't remember if the back of the PS4 has a designated port for the camera.

Not sure why I am tempted. If nothing else I will just buy it never open and sell it to my friend who is looking for one currently.

Looks the like the camera cable is short. My TV is wall mounted and the PS4 station is about 10 feet away. No buy for me.
