Found on Reddit. These coupons should stack with GCU. Mario 3D World and New Super Mario Brothers are both on discount price so stacking a coupon and GCU is a sweet ass deal. Lowest price ever?

Your title is crazy misleading. Doesn't indicate that you need those coupons and I'm guessing those coupons likely aren't available unless you went to the event.

Otherwise that's a great deal and I would have bought both.

Sorry. I also created the thread on another forum and trying to micromanage all the deals at 3am is probably not the smartest idea. >.<

Edit: Is the $59.99 GCU new? I thought that deal expired. Not sure if I should add that.

The stores are doing another event Saturday so may be worth checking out if you're near a store that's having it. I would also assume these coupons came with the Nintendo rep running the event and not the store.

Lucky guys. No stores around me hosting the event. Holding out on a good deal this Black Friday for a Wii U.

A best buy employee mentioned the coupons before the event started in the Smashfest thread. This makes me think it's more of a promo by best buy to get some cash out of gamers while they're there for the event. Who knows though..but it is possible these coupons only work at the best buys where these events were held.

HERE ARE THE RESTRICTIONS ON THE COUPON:
exlcludes clearance: Offer Valid only at participating stores. check http://www.bestbuy.c...cat332400050002 for locations. original coupon must be surrended at time of purchase. no repoductions or electronic images accepted. no adjustments on prior purchases. may not be combined with any other coupon offer or discount. offer available 6/11/14-6/14/14. Limited quanties/no rainchecks. Limit 1 game per purchase and 1 coupon redemption per customer. void where prohibited. void if copied transferred or sold

Any luck for getting a clearer scan? I figure as long as the store participates in the event the coupons should be valid (my best buy yesterday didn't have any and didn't know about them)

Doesn't 3D World have a MSRP of $60 or did they drop the price to $50?
It's on sale for $55.

I'm not sure which to pick up, Mario 3D World or Donkey Kong. Anyone own em both and have an opinion?
Both are excellent and both are different. As far as which one's better that's hard to say. I think my gut goes a bit more towards DKTF but you can't go wrong either way.

I took an original coupon to a store that did not host the event and the coupon did not work.  The manager read through it and decided to accept it even though they weren't participating in the coupon/event.

I don't think I can quite express my utter disappointment in the uselessness of this city. First off, the options in IL are Schaumburg, Countryside, and Champaign. Schaumburg and Countryside are right freaking next to each other. Champaign's about 90 minutes from me. Springfield, IL is the freaking capitol of this state, yet we couldn't swing this? Not even a close-by store could?

Here I am, having to spend $45 on a used copy of 3D World and $36 on a used copy of Tropical Freeze, when I could be getting them for $35 and $30 (less, if GCU stacks), respectively, if we got any respect, haha. Between this and getting locked out at Target on MK8, my Wii U game hunting's been a sad couple of days.

The Best Buy near me hosting the event is showing no Wii U's in stock at all (no MK8 bundle or New Super Mario Bros. U). You think the participating stores will get a shipment in for the event? Or even let me do an in store order and let me use the coupon?

They may have pulled them off the shelf to make sure they had them for the event.

The latter is certainly within their power, if you get a dumb employee tell them to use ExpressLane to order it. Their online ordering system OMS doesn't work on items that you have to scan the serial number for.

I'll keep that in mind if they don't have any physical ones in stock

At my store they had them laying on the table. There were 100 guys waiting in line to play the game. I watched for a sec, not my type of game. There was a really annoying 14 year old providing play by play analysis. I thought my head was going to explode after hearing him talk for 2 minutes.

Ok so $275 (+tax) for super mario U bundle, yeah that's a crappier deal for sure as it goes onsale on ebay for $250 (no tax - free shipping) on a regular basis.

So I if you get the coupon your getting the console $295 already discounting with tax at best buy. At Target $297 with tax included already. Seems like the deal is the same if I'm not missing anything. My best buy doesn't let me stack if I price match target. Lame...

Well I was looking at the Mario Bros bundle as I'll get Mario Kart in the Target B2G1F, so

BBY is $299 - $30 = $269 or

Target $275

So for the difference of $6 I'm avoiding a queue.

I think what I'll do is head to Best Buy on Sat and tell them I want the coupon to buy a Wii U there and then but I ain't waiting in line for it, if they don't budge I'll just get it from Target next week.

You have to wait in the demo line to get a coupon?  That seems super dumb.  There is a store near me hosting an event but I'm not that hard up for a Wii U game to go stand in line.

You're better-off getting the $30 off the $329 MK8 bundle. You get a $40 Mario controller with it, plus the $60 game. you can then get NSMBU with the buy 2, get 1 free. For an extra $30, you get a $40 controller and the wheel, rather than the Super Luigi U. This might mean 1 less game, but I personally think Luigi is a dumb game. It's just a super-short version of NSMBU.

$357 for me, -$30 if I'm lucky to find a coupon. So $327... It's like $300 for the wii u and $27 for Mario Kart... Argh.. Don't know which deal I should get..

He can get New Super Mario U through the Club Nintendo offer instead.

Well, depends on the games he wants. Maybe he wants Wind Waker HD and thinks it'll last him longer, so he gets that digitally, then gets Mario through the buy 2, get 1 free. Regardless, the MK8 bundle would be the better deal.

Yeah but isn't it just another Wii-mote ?

I already have 2 of those from my Wii.

I kind of want the Mario U and Luigi U games, then I was going to get Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D World and DK Tropical freeze in the B2G1F. I'll get Pikmin 3 as my free game for registering MK8.

Just so folks know, you don't have to wait in a line to get the coupon unless your best buy is even more so retarded.  YMMV though
