Should I invest in a LED monitor if I work from home?

I work at my PC from home for 6-7 hours a day and was wondering if it's worth investing in a 20" LED monitor over my old 19" Gateway LCD monitor? Will it help save me a few bucks in the energy bill since I hear LED uses half the energy than LCD.

Any thoughts on LED monitor would be appreciated.

LCD PC monitors don't use all that much power to begin with, and moving on to a LED LCD won't save you that much money over a year. However, if your current monitor is more than a few years old, it might be worth replacing since things generally do become more energy efficient.

Additionally, LED monitors provide much better color, brightness and a more even light- which will help reduce eye strain and fatigue.

For as much as you use your monitor you would benefit from getting a larger monitor 24 - 27" is a nice sweet spot for price. It helps dramatically with eye strain and it just easier to read text.
