Pretty good deal. I got $10 in points that i haven't redeemed yet. Trying to find some items for filler to get free shipping.

 
damn, the perfect price for my $20 off $50 purchase coupon and it wont apply it to the order, probably for the best, not really looking to buy this again anyway

Yea hardly any of the Kmart coupons apply on video games. The 10POINTS coupon code actually works on all video game software but not the consoles (atleast not on Wii u). Haven't tried it on accessories yet.

 
Do you SYWR points ever expire? It's been a long time for me since I've shopped there.  I assume the $5 bonus points coupon doesn't expire anytime soon?  Can't find my SYWR card since it's at my work.

 
Had a better coupon loaded onto my account for $10 back in points on $50+. So now I'll be getting $30 back in points. Additionally had $5 in surprise points good for Video Games (essentially $5 off). Also combined this with a pair of goggles worth $15 that I had a coupon for $5 off on, which made them $10, and was able to push myself over the $59 limit for free shipping (which would have cost me $6 anyways without) - so about $4 for the goggles.

the coupon i have is from a closing store, it works on other games, but wont work on the last of us, not sure why. it says a better coupon has been applied, so it must be something about how they did the price adjustment (which is still 2 bucks higher than everyone else)

That happened with me. You have to remove existing coupons for new ones to apply. Even though it says that an existing coupon may be better, that is not always the case. Remove the individual coupons in your cart and try reapplying it.

 
How does this work? The Last Of Us releases on July 29th, and there's no games coming out within a month or so that I have any interest at all in. So can I use the points on a different preorder that releases in October, or would that not work since the points would expire?

Or, can I use the points on a PSN card?

Basically $25 sounds nice and all, but not if it's nearly useless to me.

You can always just buy something keep it sealed and return within their grace period for store credit.

There is no easy answer. It totally depends on how they were earned and under what circumstances. Most of the buy a specific game,, earn x amount of points deals expire in a couple weeks. That is how kmart has been doing it lately. Most of the earn x amount of points on a y amount purchase coupons last a year. Surprise points expire super fast. Base points seemingly last forever. The system does a good job of using expiring points first before long term so you dont have to worry about that. You just have to remember to use them period.

Similarly what points get deducted on returns and in what order depends on what promos were used to earn the points to begin with and what item was returned. Like some have said there have been returns I did and the points were never deducted but those were certain ly not the norm.

That sucks... Might not be stackable with the 10POINTS code... maybe?

 
pretty good deal if you have some points available to help offset the initial cost, but I cant justify spending that much cash on this when I get for $40 BB credit day 1 instead.

 
Nice, gonna get Tales of Xillia 2 for $35 with my points, it comes out about three weeks afterward so the points should still be good by then.

points are only good for 2 weeks i believe

oh well, looks like this is back to $10 over MSRP, got wolfenstein ps4 for $8.93 after a $10 off coupon and surprise points, now to decide if i want to try and get the plat or just make some best buy credit off it.

edit: looks like the average time the preorder points last is around 18 days

Damn, might be cutting it close if I preorder Xillia 2. Eh, I can always get Tomodachi Life for $10 if Xillia 2 doesn't pan out.

especially since if it was a tuesday release you could be pretty sure they would take the points the thursday or friday before and be pretty safe, but its a friday release date and i have no clue when they would ship that out.

 
Edit: The price is back!! sweet deal. Get this for suda 51 bucks and Wolfenstein for around 16 bucks today? forget that survival dlc bonus! lol

But yeah the shipping is only free if you get $60 worth of stuff so there's that.

Anyone have any luck getting their customer service to honor expired points? Maybe pulling the old "I didn't know they'd expire that quickly" trick? It'd probably only work once but if it meant getting Xillia 2 for $35 instead of having to settle for Tomodachi Life for $10 I'd do it :p

 
Its down to $49.99 now. Anyone know if i'm able to use surprise points on a pre order? I chatted with two different reps and one said no while the other said yes.

If you use points that expire before it releases expect a cancellation.

 
So how does this work, I pre order the game, once it ships I get 20 dollars in spending credit that I can use on any item in the future?

I preordered on June 18 and it was still $59.99. Since you can't cancel an order, I had support make notes to my account that I should get a $10 refund and $20 in points when my order ships.

that is cutting it close, 19 days in august plus 2 in july, points may be expired before they charge. although the last of us doesnt show the expiration date right now, so maybe its just certain games that have the short expiration dates. plus hard to tell if kmart is getting diablo or plants vs zombies gw(same release date) for ps4, as neither of them are on their website yet.

 
Kmart is a nightmare for preorders. My watchdogs didn't ship a week after release date. Eventually, after 4 customer service chats, I got it a month after release. Buyer be warned.

Man, that sucks. I'll do a chat with them right now and try to get this fixed. I don't mind getting the game a few days after release, but a month is unacceptable, especially since I preordered in June.

FYI, it is back in stock.

Also how can you get free shipping.

Says you only get $10 back + $3 surprise points. I guess someone hoarded the $50 w $$25 copies :/

Anybody's preorder shipped yet. Mine still says will ship on december 31st 2014. I spoke to a csr who was useless said it will ship 2-3 bsiness days after it is released. I tell him its already released and he said thats all the info he has...

Like I said above I wish you all luck with your preorders. I wish I could say I learned my lesson but I still preordered madden ps4 from them. If they screw it up again I'll just cancel I guess.

My plan was to preorder Madden with the $25 SYW points I earn from this game, then possible roll that $20 over to WWE 15. If this ends up working out badly, I guess I will not be doing that. If I get the game by the end of the week, I'll be fine, but anything past that will be a disappointment.

I guess I could go to Kmart and buy the game this week, then return this one whenever I get it.
