What are these Japenese PSX games?

Can anyone tell me what these games are? I purchased a PS1, 4 controllers, plus a handful of games, most of which are Japanese imports. Anyone have any idea on what these are, and if they have any value?

Also, the PSX I bought plays the Japanese imports. Does that make it rare, or is that something all PSX's do?

It's likely modded and the ones in the first image are from the "Capcom Generations Collection". Not sure about the rest though but here's the  Wikipedia page for the first set http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capcom_Generations

All those PlayStation games have ID numbers like SCPH-yadda yadda. If you're not sure what these games are, it's time to do a Google search for those ID numbers and UPCs, especially if you don't have a command of the Japanese language. 

You bought a modchipped console, if it also plays Japanese games.

If it's modded, is it possible it will play games burnt onto a disc?

Why don't you try it? You'll be out of a measly CD-R if it doesn't.
