thinking of getting on of these things   (fire tv  ect ect ect)

but wondering what is the best 

or can the  PS3  do anything these can do 

 
The PS3 can do most of what the Fire TV and the Roku 3 can do. The PS3 doesn't have all the apps, but that doesn't matter to a lot of people. Is there anything on the Roku or Fire TV that's not on the PS3 that you want? There are only like 1 or 2 Apps on the Roku that I use that isn't on my other devices.

what are some of the better apps i can stream movies and tv shows from using my Ps3

I doubt i can stream SYFY channel for their movies anywhere
