I guess it meant enough to you to respond... what, four different times? Granted, it's the usual off-topic, thread derailing that everyone has come to expect from "those who don't like the current topic", but even then - you invested your time to respond. Either you thought the thread was important or you have nothing better to do with your time than to spend it posting troll memes on a low-traffic sub-forum of a gaming forum.

I'm curious, renique... although I'd be impressed if you give an honest answer... why so disruptive in this specific post? Do you think it's not a big deal that the president has a crazy-huge personal travel budget? Do you think it's pedantic for CAG Vs. members to focus on the president's vacation habits/spending? What about this thread's presence bothers you so much?

Whats the point in creating 20 different threads when they all say the same thing. Isn't there a centralized Obama thread in here somewhere that you could just update it with your daily nuisance of everything the president does. I'll tell you why, because the thread would end up being a blog with hardly no responses.

But they're not "the same thing" - a thread about the president's vacation spending budget is a wholly different thing than, say, a thread regarding the president's foreign policy. I'd rather these types of threads be posted apart from one another - really, I don't care too much about the president's vacation plans... I think I said this when talking about Bush and I still believe it now - the more time he (Bush or Obama either one) is on vacation, the less damage they can do.

Meanwhile, I do care about something like the president's foreign policy - thus, that's a thread I'd hope will have a better quality of conversation in it.

Regardless, to your point, if a poster makes multiple threads on different subjects that revolve around not caring for the actions/policies of a particular administration, then it annoys you if they're in multiple posts instead of one mega-thread?

Doesn't possess the ability to look beyond black and white.  Only sees black discrimination. Calls race card just to be safe. Genius! 

Replace the black guys with children, teenagers, rednecks, whatever.  Make everyone fuck ing white for all I care.  It's the point that everyone is too busy watching one person and all the trouble he's causing while being completely ignorant of the fact that the people you trust are the ones that are truly giving it to you.

I think that is just what you were hoping for. Unfortunately for you all it did was point out the hypocritical nature in all of your posts. Obama has spent more on vacations than Bush AND taken more vacations period... yet you are trying to change the subject immediately because your lord and savior Obama can do no wrong.

I think the bigger issue here is that all of our elected officials are like this.

Not just Obama, not just the Democrats, but all of them. Once they get elected, WE THE PEOPLE, us normal people with jobs who are on this forum looking for deals, PAY THEIR fuckING BILLS.

It's only going to get worse, 1984 was only 30 years ago. We are already seeing the division between the government and the people they "represent."
