I want to price match Samsung TV from Amazon at BB - same tv but BB's model # has extra "FXZA" suffix

CAGiversary!
Don't get me wrong here -- they are EXACTLY the same tv, but for some reason, Samsung has this habit of having a "FXZA" suffix on their tvs at brick and mortar stars, but Amazon won't list that suffix on the _exact_ same product.

Am I going to be able to pricematch this Samsung TV at BestBuy using Amazon's pricetag, despite this?

Mind you, when I copy & paste the model number from BB (with the FXZA suffix) into Amazon and search, the same item (minus the FXZA suffix) is the first item in the search results that pops up.

Hopefully I can do this, because it's a 40$~ savings and they're the exact same item. I'm not a scumbag who tries to save $$ by attempting to price match a different item....

that's the reason they do it.

It might have one tiny minor difference in the two models but allows them not to have to price match.

With that suffix they are not the same item.

If you look at Walmart, I think it's their HP laptops, always start with a W.

One it's so they know where it's from, and their way of protecting their retailers.

Just ask the Best Buy rep in the TV section. Tell them you want TV X, but Amazon has it for $40 less. To make a sale today, they'll almost certainly do it, especially since its only $40. I got $200 in credit by saying I would buy a Samsung over at Costco that was $200 less.
