Well, I don't like them personally anyways. Some of the worst "tube shooters" out there.

I think this 'collection' is the three games in their original (or GH) packaging slid into a cardboard outer shell... so actually takes up more shelf space.

And, as Nax5 mentioned, online servers are shut down and trophies for online play are unattainable.

 
First game: Great game, though I haven't played it since launch.

Second game: Tries way too hard to be a generic shooter. It's still fun, but it loses what made the original unique.

Third game: No regenerating health. A mood that is depressing as heck. Phenomenal graphics. Great 3D if you've got the TV for it.

Series is not for everyone (I guess), but it's definitely worth the 20 bucks if you are looking for a few good shooters to pass the time.

Packaging I saw made it seem like they were all in one case. Blah.
 
That sucks. I always assumed these collections were in a special case, but maybe that's for games that weren't already on PS3. Here's an American unboxing video, and yeah, it's three separate cases. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Ybdudf_IjM

So you don't save any shelf space at all, have to deal with those ugly red GH cases, and pay $5 more than you would at Gamestop for all of them individually... I think I made my point a few posts ago

that is weird, because god of war and killzone got their own special cases, ratchet and clank as well. i thought that was the whole point of the rebranding they did for the sony collections.

 
I would definitely consider this.  My Resistance 3 copy must have been damaged since I couldn't load the last chapter no matter how many times I've tried.  I'm stuck at 97%, and am missing only 2 collectibles and another task for the platinum trophy.  There's no scratches on my blu-ray disc, but I've read that this game is so bugged that I'm not the only one who has been having this issue.

I've deleted the installed game and patch, then reinstalled the game first then finally the patch, and I still cannot load the last stage of the game to be able to finish it, unfortunately.

I've even tried reinstalling just the game data only, and I still can't load the last New York stage. And as far as deleting the 1.5 GB game data goes, it usually takes my PS3 slim about 2+ hours to delete that file everytime I've done it, when a normal 1.5 GB game usually takes less than 1 minute for my PS3 to delete. I don't understand why this hasn't been fixed by now.

Me neither D: I'd like to say one day, but with the servers for the game nixed, there is almost no hope.

the resistance games dispite its flaws had imo some of the best fps campaigns ever final battle in 3 was dissapointing imo ). as for the install bug i didnt bother deleting it before trading in my ps3. i just let gamestop put it into factory settings before giving it to them as i didnt want to deal with the hassle lol
