Disaster: Day of Crisis (Region Locked) £10.90 Shipped ~$18.70

I'm just a longtime lurker scumbag around these parts, but I just wanted to say I really appreciate this thread and the other one like it a little ways back. Really enjoying Breath of Fire 3 and the definitive remake of Fatal Frame 2 on the Wii, and as a Monolith Soft fan, I'm sure to enjoy Disaster. (I had remembered this game was supposed to exist, then it went dark for like forever and I forgot about it and never actually learned its final fate until this topic prompted me to look into it again.)

I just find it a bit of a shame to see this thread so devoid of responses when you've done a great service... to an incredibly niche group of gamers, even if that group is so small that I'm the only one in it (which isn't true, Internet rules, but I also can't speak for anybody else). So I just wanted to say thank you and I hope you'll keep up the good work undeterred!

Base's site is a little funky and it'd probably be better if they could accept PayPal or some other forms of payment, but they're still a good egg in my book.

I forgot about this, thanks for bumping it up again. I was at work the other day when I saw it and didn't have time to mess with this site. :)

Thanks guys I thought no one was interested! Especially since some people were really put off with FF2 being region locked. I'll be sure to post again if I find anything like this in the future.

whoa, where's that Fatal Frame 2 deal???

It went a little cheaper and is now oos. I posted FF and BoF before here - http://www.cheapassgamer.com/topic/330299-wii-project-zero-2-fatal-frame-%C2%A31648-28-shipped-breath-of-fire-iii-psp-%C2%A3698-12-shipped/#entry11721148

If you watch it they might get more in. I think it went OOS once before. Though I just learned that they removed some bikini costumes in the PAL version which really rustled my jimmies.

Too bad. I got in on this, though. It went up a bit but still less than $20 shipped. I haven't modded my Wii yet. Thinking of keeping mine as is with all the VC content on it and picking up a Wii at a garage sale/thrift shop sometime in the future to mod.

Hoping my bank doesn't throw a fit seeing a charge going to a UK online shopping site...

Just thought I would chime in and say that Disaster and Fatal Frame 2 (Project Zero 2) are both great Wii games and well worth picking up if you have a modded Wii.  Especially at the price above.  I've had both for quite a while now.  I would also recommend Fatal Frame 4 (Zero: Tsukihami no Kamen) as well if you can find it.  There is a patch that allows you to play the whole game in English.

I loved Disaster:DoC, such cool varied scenarios and gameplay elements.  One of the Wii's most interesting titles.  It's a shame it never came to the PS3.

Thank you very much, Green Card! Just ordered Fatal Frame 2 and Disaster. Total was £26.71 so.... $46?

You can keep VC stuff on a modded Wii. The latest Homebrew is compatible with the last firmware (4.3?).

I was tempted by FF2 and BoF3, but for now I just bought Disaster (no shipping discounts for multiple purchases, no loss).  Modded my Wii after it was repaired, already purchased Captain Rainbow, this might do it for me.  Thanks for posting!

So any idea how quick they are on trying to charge the order? I haven't seen any pending charges yet, so I don't know if there's an issue or not.

Edit: Got the fraud alert this morning, approved it, and the game is in shipping phase now.

Showed up as pending today, along with a shipping confirmation from Base.  $19.22 was the total (plus 3%, I'm assuming).

Same as Kyanos. Got the fraud email, ok'd it around 9:30 am est, and got a processing email at 11:30 am. It's also showing that both items were shipped at 16:21, I'm guessing GMT so right before the processing email.

Same as Kyanos.... again.  :p So yeah, 7 days for an international order and everything came in great shape? I'm very pleased with that. Base gets my seal of approval!
