Good price, but I won't buy one until they give me more of a reason to get one (i.e., games that support and/or need it).

 
Gamestop dropped it from $69.99 to $49.99 just recently. I'm guessing there won't be any games that support the camera. Soon it'll be on clearance everywhere. I feel sorry for the people that paid $150+ dollars on Ebay for this.

oddly it gave me an additional $10 off in addition to the $10 gift card. total was $35 for camera w/ $10 gift card. did not have amazon credit.

Weird. It charges me $10 for the gift card but removes $10 from the price of the camera. Didn't buy as I have no need for it. I know, I'm a terrible CAG.

 
Used the $50 giftcard that came with the extra $10 credit from the recent promo they had - Yay to $20 amazon credit O:)

Also also I agree the uses for this are pretty limited at the moment.
 
doesn't seem to let you add it to cart anymore.  well it does but it says there was a problem with the seller (amazon).  

probably pretty good - the camera is pretty useless, unless you wanna be some sort of PS4 porn star wanna be streamer

 
Yeah, I believe Amazon stopped people from adding the camera to their cart to stop and change the gift card promotion. I was 5 min too late for that, now I don't want it lol

will tank even more pretty much only good for streaming and only retail game I know for sure it support is just dance. The only reason they were fetching so much before was cause only a small quanity was produced at first so once stores sold out it became rare to find in stores so people stupidity and secondary market took over since people figure hard to find that they must have it.

Uh no.

People pay for cameras "...only good for streaming" for their laptops and computers all the time. Twitch has grown in popularity beyond intitial expectations. I see no reason why this won't continue to sell if only for that reason.

With such a large install base if only 10% of console owners buy this as an accessory it'll still be profitable for Sony

 
That's a good deal. I wish I'd held out (though I got the Rakuten deal a few weeks back, so I didn't pay that much more).

I bought the camera to go with my brand new PS4. Honestly, I wish I'd waited. It's an OK peripheral and my 3-year-old loves the Playroom, but unless you're livestreaming or using it as your microphone, you're better off just buying a second controller, a charging cradle or the PS Gold Headset (which is a must-have, IMO).

And to be completely honest, the PS4 itself is pretty overrated at the moment. I am enjoying InFamous and Killzone, and Remote Play with my Vita is pretty rad. Warframe is surprisingly good for a F2P game, and I'm looking forward to a console version of Planetside 2. The PS+ free games library has also been nice to have. But there's nothing incredible about this console yet. I'll probably play my PS3 a lot more this year as we wait for some more exciting games to hit the PS4.

Yeah I was just about to mention this... apparently she does it for the love of it too as it was mentioned in an article I read that he was willing to pay her to stop doing it (obviously more then she was making...) and she turned down his offer.
