Has anyone else been charged by gathr after their membership ended?

I was charged by gathr this month. Thing is, our membership ended during the second week of July.

I didn't receive any new codes or anything, in fact that page just shows a "Goodbye gathr is ending message".

I don't know if this has happened to anyone else.

Yeah, it happened to me.  I found some fine print about it, saying that they bill in arrears (after the month occurs)  I know they took at least 2 months (first month free) before starting to bill me in the beginning, so it makes sense. 

Funny thing was, I canceled the account # that I had given to them immediately after getting my final code (it was a Shopsafe account # under my real account), and it STILL somehow billed the final bill as some sort of alternate banking transaction.  Not sure how they pulled that one off.

I'll be keeping a really close eye on my bill next month, though, to make sure they're actually done.  If this is the final billing, then they did exactly what they were supposed to do.  I really enjoyed getting $16 Amazon + $10 TRU + $10 Fandango every month for $15.

Poor AOL, they've been doing things wrong for longer than I can even remember...
