Dark Knight Trilogy CE $38.99, Man of Steel CE $24.99 @Amazon

I have officially given up on steelbooks (long story, but basically, I'm tired of their ridiculous susceptibility to scratches, dents, dings, etc. even with meticulous care) so I ordered the UCE trilogy and will sell my steelbooks. The 90 min. special features disc is worth it alone IMO.

steel books are overrated. they dent easily and not every single movie release has them so its not like your whole collection will match anyway

That Dark Knight set is tempting, if only it were a few dollars less.  And I do get sick of these grossly overpriced "collectors editions" that have movies shoved into cardboard instead of a proper case.

I usually wouldn't touch this, but this is one of the few trilogies I'd make an exception for especially since I only got them on DVD.  I'm still gonna hold out for a lower price though..... I mean the movies, great as they are, are dirt cheap now and I still don't feel like paying a premium for some worthless plastic crap, a few photos, and an excerpt from the artbook.

Anyways not bad for Batman day/week/whatever.
