I was wondering if anyone had opinions on the best charge stand for ps4 controllers. I had the PDP/Energizer ones for ps3 and 360. I'm debating that one, the Power A and the Nyko. Thanks.

I just plug mine into the PS4 when I'm done and put my console on standby. I also have my laptop next to me in my den so I have plugged it into there as well while playing once or twice.

I charge mine using my android micro-usb ac adapters (same ones I use for my phone and tablet). I don't like to leave my PS4 in standby mode since it sits in an enclosed entertainment center, and I don't want the heat to damage it.

Really no need for the cradle. As other have said, just use the cord. I have a USB wall charger that mine stays plugged in to.

That's a good idea. I mean whether you have Android, iPhone, Windows phones, blackberry, you have a USB adapter that will fit your DS4 cable. Plugging into my laptop seems like an easy solution all in all though.

Sorry for neceoposting but this needs to be said.
I use the official powera cradle for 2 controllers (even though I only have 1 controller)
The energizer cradle (and all similar "claw" cradles) WILL destroy your micro usb port.
The energizer ps3 version destroyed 2 ps3 controllers.
And my ps4 controler broke from using the micro usb port too much.
Use the ones that use the bottom port to charge, and cradle the controller (instead of treating it like a leaf, like the energizer ones do)
I'm still using my broken controller (it a launch controller, with supposedly thin rubber)
I gutted the daughter board (it only hosted the micro usb port and powered the move light)
By doing that, I charge exclusively via the bottom port and I have nearly doubled my battery power.
