What? You named the thread this, when Bestbuy's policy is that they do not price match Amazon. Yes it's YMMV that you can get them to work. But why would you even bother when the games are in stock, and a few clicks away from sitting on your doorstep...

Actually that's YMMV too. They'll look at the total price including shipping, and match that. Which they also do for Amazon sold goods, they're not supposed to match the free shipping, they're supposed to tack the 1 day shipping to the price. Because that same convenience is what they're offering.

Never had that happen when price matching online stores at BB or FS (And I've done it at 4-5 locations).

You're lucky then. I've gone to at least 1-2 Best Buys and a Futureshop, and they told me they wouldn't price match the free shipping.

I always make the argument that if I ordered it online and got it price matched with no fees added on then I should be able to in-store since they advertise that online.

Then again I've rarely had to argue with anyone in a BB or FS since it's mainly how you start off with them. Be nice (Plus having exact URLs/Fliers are a bonus) and they're usually going to try and help you.

I was able to get them to PM that 2 for 30 glitch sale when BB accidentally put up $60 games for it, though I was slightly surprised it had worked XD. (Got 4 games for $60 from that, tbh I thought of going for more but I didn't want to abuse it too much)

I've tried getting them to price match things off VGP and Amazon before, and they told me it had to be the faster shipping method and not the free shipping. Because they're basically offering the same convenience to me or so they claimed.

I did have one instance where they price matched Amazon with no issues, but that was just good luck.
