gamestop promo / cancel preoder question

hi guys. a few weeks back i went to gamestop with a large amount of tradeins. the guy at the counter suggested a put a preorder down for ac unity due to the fact i would get 40 percent xtra credit.

my question is that i have now decided i would like to put the money elseware , but i am curious do i lose the 40 percent xtra credit i got when trading everything in. i put 65 down on the game which covers game and tax,

will i get 65 back or will i lose that 40 percent. the guy who checked me out said i could cancel at any time.

from what ive read online you get to keep the 40 percent xtra i got, but that doesnt really make since now does it? hoping someone who has gone thru this situation can give me an answer on how gamestop handled it.

No, you don't lose anything. You can get your $65 credit back.

Just double confirming for you that yes you will get to keep all of the credit.  I pre-order something every time there's a bonus going on which is almost every time I trade things into Gamestop and then cancel them a couple days later every time.

A little off topic but does anybody know if they $25 off one item power up rewards coupon will work on a preorder?
