Best DS/3DS Harvest Moon or Rune Factory?

Walmart.com has a bunch of Rune Factory and Harvest Moon games for the DS systems for around $15.  There are so many I  don't know which one to get.  Any suggestions?

 
If you only want one, get Rune Factory 3.

(Note that I haven't played Rune Factory 4 yet, but I have played all the others. Also, I haven't played any of the DS/3DS Harvest Moons.)

I've played Runefactory 3 and it's fantastic! So much to do! Definitely get it and then move on to Runefactory 4. That's what I'm doing at the moment.

I haven't played any Rune Factory, but Harvest Moon The Tale of Two Towns is good and available on both platforms. I've heard the 3DS version has some issues with freezing, but it's never done that for me.

 
Thanks for the info everyone.  Oddly Walmart doesn't have Rune Factory 3.  But I'm glad to hear the series is good.
