I'm still debating. Keeping my Destiny Limited edition & try to find a deal on a PS4 for around $350-$360 (I didn't jump on the recent Ebay deal) or just pre-order the Destiny white bundle with that sexy white PS4  :whistle2:k

Some people have mentioned discoloration on white consoles, is that true? Anyone with some experience might share some input?

Edit-Also with these deals, kinda makes me wonder about BF

That hard drive is plenty large enough for now. I'm sure that hoarders or those with poor bandwith will have a somewhat valid reason to complain in the future when libraries get large enough, but you can fit quite a few games on a 500GB hard drive.

 
Does anyone think Gamestop might do a similar bundle for the Xbox One?  I'm hoping they want to clear some existing stock to make room for Madden and Sunset Overdrive bundles.  I don't want Madden and don't want to wait until October for the white bundle.

Not retail games. You can fit plenty of the digital only games though, with the biggest being DC Universe and most being 1-5 GB.
 
Unless I had Google Fiber, I would not want to download anything that big.

If they were to adjust the prices for games (cheaper if bought digitally, by a significant amount), then yes, I would buy some.

Doesn't DCUO take an obnoxious amount of space? I know I've had to delete a ton of other stuff, like Crysis and half the Assassin's Creed games, to make it fit.

They do not match bundles, ymmv there might be 1 idiot employee you could find, doubt it helps as they'll need a manager to over ride.

no way it would be cheaper than $399, so how could they make it a better deal? offer two free games? is that possible?

If not two games, then at least a newer game or some type of bundle (like the extra controller mentioned above). The thing with one off sales like these is that there really isn't any competing sales at this moment. During Black Friday, each retailer will be trying to outdo one another so the potential deals could be better. My guess is they will also offer 1 year psn instead of just the 3 months here. Regardless, I'm still waiting.

I picked one up today and it was sealed. Don't know if this varies by store, though.

I predict 2 Games (Infamous and The Last Of Us)  and 3 Month PS + for Black Friday Bundle

Or a Spider-Man 2 Game + BR Movie

Hmmm...now I'm starting to wonder if I should return the PS4 I bought this weekend and wait for the inevitable BF bundle instead. I doubt that the mover's coupon would stack with any deals though.
 
The Infamous SS and 3-month PS+ codes print out on the receipt at time of purchase, so there's no actual bundle going on.

Also, you get $20 off a year of PS+ with the purchase of a new (and possibly pre-owned) PS4.

*hopefully, I don't expect sony to do anything for bf they aren't desperate and if ps+ owners just get indie games they aren't going to start giving away multiple game for free.

Anyone tried this in store? I have my Destiny bundle paid off but if it works I might just cancel it now, buy this deal, and get Destiny anyway with what's left over. Also, will I still get my PUR points if I do that?

No it's not. 500 GB hdd is no where near large enough for the PS4 with us going into the digital age where everything is downloaded onto the hard drive now. Some PS4 games are 50 GB+, and that means you would need more than 100 GB of free space just to play that one game. The PS4 only comes with 407 GB of free space according to IGN.

As for the PS4 bundle, I would like to see that White Destiny PS4 bundle, with a 1 TB HDD for $399 to $450 (or a holiday bundle with 2 games or 2 controllers) than this bundle.

I understand your point, but even if all you have are the largest games installed, you would have room for at least seven of them at one time and most games are significantly lower than 50 GB in size (even retail games). It's nice to have a bunch of games installed, but do you really need dozens of games at your fingertips all at once? Retail discs install in a very short time (especially since you can play while installing). The hassle of re-downloading is a fair argument, but still not enough (at least for me) to say that 500 GB is too small. Obviously, larger is preferable, but it's not like the 500GB hard drive is a fatal design flaw.

No. It's not a design flaw at all, I agree. 500 GB, of course, will and have been working for the majority of the 10 million PS4 sold. A lot of people don't or hardly purchase any digital content, or own a lot of retail games right now, because frankly, there's aren't many out that are must-have games. But in 2015, there will be more top retail games being released, and as people add more PS4 games to their library, they may find 500 GB a bit constricting. So was a 500 GB a "design flaw?" No. It was not. Is a larger internal hard drive or an external hard drive option desirable? To some of us, yes. Absolutely.

I mean you can always buy the black bundle now and exchange it for the white bundle if they have any left over? You just can't open the package though. It's kind of shady but hey free is free.

Karma is a bitch, I need no more bad luck lol. I paid off 2 white ones and traded in 3 of my black ones ( my furniture and tv stands are white and looks better ) just wanted to no. I heard it was short so don't want to waste money on it.
