In the past, each or every other holiday season would bring a new hardware revision beyond just color and pack in game.
This was especially true with the PS2 and Xbox 360, which sometimes had multiple revisions during a single calendar year.
Has there been any word on whether the new systems have quietly been updated with smaller, power efficient, or more secure parts? Will this holiday seasons shipments use the same size NM processes?
Nothing significant has been announced, like 360' getting HDMI or PS3 losing Linux/SACD/PS2 compatibility. Xbox One is getting a 1TB model.
