I went through the steps the other day and Shop dot ca seems to be showing that they're sold out of NHL 15.

Try again....i see stock for ps4 and xbone, also, make sure you go through ebates.com again before going to shop.ca to get the 7.5% rebate

So I got an even better deal!

I went into Target today expecting a 10% rebate on PSN gift cards, but it was 25% when I got to the store.

I bought $70 in cards for $52.50, and since the PS Store doesn't charge tax, that's all I paid for NHL 15.

sweet deal. The thing about digi-copy is you can't sell it afterwards to re-coup your funds.

That's true, but I also have a 4 year old that likes to grab discs with dirty hands and leave them all over the place, scratching them up. I like the digital version to avoid unplayable discs. Digital is mainly for games that I know 100% I won't be returning, especially sports games that drastically go down in value in a short time.

 
I also heard there is a $25 off $75 coupon floating around. Add Destiny, which is $69.99, then add a $5-$6 filler item, apply the coupon then cancel the filler item.

Anyway, promo code is over, and they do not ship the English version to Quebec by the way.

I tried that and it doesn't work, when you remove the item the coupon is disabled.

Also there arent any more $15 codes, at least for me

Hi, he means, to complete the checkout process with the filler.

Then cancel the filler item after the order is placed.

Personally, that's kind of sketchy to me but I read that it works.

Can we just get a sticky for this shop dot ca song and dance. I mean it is the same steps everytime, and there is a new post on it all the time. Do we really need a new thread for every game that comes out. Maybe I am wrong, but I am guessing this has something to do with an aphiliate code... which makes it feels  a little greasy to me.

I know the terms and conditions say they don't give cash back on video game purchases, but I received 20% cash back for my purchase of Killzone/FIFA14 for PS4. That was about 8 months ago though....

the terms and conditions is new and shop.ca process for reviewing rebates are now more strict and they will invalid those rebates

I had a PayPal $20 order through Shop.ca coupon laying around, so I just ordered FIFA 15 for PS4. I added a SHOPRMN1040 promo code I found online too, which paired with the PayPal coupon for an additional $10 off. I tried the ebates.com suggestion and it looks like the bonus $5 for signing up went through right away. Waiting the usual few days for the order to go through so I can get the 7.5% cash back. 

All in all, after another $2 Shop.ca credit I had, the total cost was $44.70 (taxes in). After I get the ebates cash back that'll drop down to around $34. Not too shabby for my first PS4 game purchase...right after trading in the old PS3 at FutureShop :D

 
Used the $20 coupon, dropped the final price down to $59.09. Ebates is also offering 20% cashback at Shop.ca, I ended up netting $13.82 from this (if it goes through). That, plus the $5 for signing up, and I'm looking at about $40 for Shadows of Mordor :D

im not sure if it would work, might have to google that depending on which ps3 model you have. though i thought i would give you a heads up and let you know that it is possible to find hard drives that are at 7200 rpms 1tb, or even hdd/ssd hybrids for about the same price (maybe less depending on the sale) on websites such as ncix.ca or tigerdirect.ca

Go look up the exact specs for this drive on the manufacturer's site, make sure it's 9.5 mm thick (height). Some 2.5" drives are thicker and won't fit in the PS3. If it's 9.5 mm there's no reason why it wouldn't work. Of course looking at a PS3 HDD compatibility list can't hurt...

 
When is the rebate applied? I'm about to checkout but my price is still at $59.05 only thing I can do is "complete order" I also didn't get a $5 coupon for signing up to ebates..

hi, ebates.com will get your rebate value after shop.ca has reported the sale back the ebates.

the $5 bonus rebate + the rebate that you get from shop.ca will sit in your ebates account for about a month.

then ebates will send you a cheque/amazon gc/paypal payment to you

 
just letting you guys know that shop.ca doesn't allow for cashback rebate + coupons anymore.

the price just got a little more expensive.
