Breaking Bad: The Complete Series 2014 Barrel

Would have picked this up but my wife bought me the complete Blu ray set that came out a little over a month ago. Thanks for the heads up though OP
 
Probably devalues the one I kept sealed... oh well... sold the others for $350 plus.

Just an FYI but amazon did a HORRIBLE job shipping these and most arrive with cracks to the packaging

I do remember seeing a lot of complaints about the shipping, if it arrives damaged I can return it right?

Correct. If they still have some in stock at that point, you can request a replacement to be sent. If not, they sometimes might offer you a partial refund if you want to keep the item, otherwise you can return it for a full refund.
 
I expect this run to be even more limited for anyone on the fence about buying it. I did a look through the system at my work (Best Buy) and not even all the stores (including mine) this time around will be carrying it for walk in off the street customers. Just an FYI to you fine gents and ladies. I wish I could have that flash drive but I'm perfectly happy with my first run set.

Nice to know, now I'm contemplating picking up a second one. Especially since the first run seemed so limited.

 
Meh that sucks, already bought all the individual sets. If I wasn't strict with my spending I'd get this and sell the singles to offset a bit of the costs but I have a vacation coming up plus spent other money on things I didn't need this month so I'll have to pass again.

There's few shows I'd be willing to buy a set like this for. This, Game of Thrones, and Boardwalk Empire.

The individual sets are so cheap right now. This show and Mad Men had the sets for $10-15 a season (depending on DVD or Blu). Much as I wanted the barrel, just owning the series was enough for me.

No. Case in point: I prebought Game of Thrones Season 3 a week or two before my Prime expired. The only thing that changed with the order was the price of the item when launch week came and it released for $30. If you get your orders in before the Prime membership expires, Amazon will still honor them as long as you don't change the order details (like the shipping or the contents of the order).

I wish I could grab this. The barrel looks really cool, and it's nice that they include some nice extras like the 4GB flash-drive.
