walmart trade in

so i looked onto wall mart for trade in values for the following games, 

black ops 2

mario kart

mario 3d world

ocarina of time 3d

and walmart completely OWNED amazon/bestbuy for TIV

am i the only one completely surprised by this? 

also, am i the only one who didn't even know walmart had a trade in program?

Wal-Mart's trade in is fairly new (less then a year and a half/maybe a year if I'm not mistaken). It doesn't shock me that they beat BB or Amazon as Wally World is trying to take over the world, if you ask me.

I don't trade in much but yeah, I found WM's trade in prices to be better than other retailers... 

However, at the end of the day, I have WM credit which I don't find nearly as tempting as BBY (who often has decent sales) and GS (where you can usually find older stuff and save some money with coupons). I realize I can buy pretty much anything at WM but... the local WMs are awful. I buy my groceries from a regional chain which has better quality and prices and for everything else, WM's prices are usually much higher than Amazon. 

Well I'm pretty sure Wal-Mart sells gift cards for other retailers don't they?

I think so, I've seen best buy cards there.
