Xbox One Noise Issue

CAGiversary!
Hi,

It was reported early in the Buy Xbox One, Get a Free Game forum that someone had a noise issue with their system.

This is a known issue: Found here

It seems to be more common with the consoles without kinect. I would love to purchase one, but I am afraid to have these issues. I wonder if it is a firmware issue or bad batch of consoles?

Please report if you have any of this.

There's a bonus noisemaker? Why didn't Microsoft advertise this new feature?

Now, this is a story all about how
My life got flipped-turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute
Just sit right there
I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel Air

In west Philadelphia born and raised
On the playground was where I spent most of my days
Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool
And all shootin some b-ball outside of the school
When a couple of guys who were up to no good
Started making trouble in my neighborhood
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared
She said 'You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel Air'

Did somebody say noise issue?!

TURN DOWN FOR WHAT

I wouldn't worry much really as I haven't seen this issue much on other forums. That's just support so obviously a few people are going to have hardware issues, Nothing is 100%. but it seems like xbox one has been 99% or better.

Sure if you go to PS4 support, you'll see issues too.

Hardware is never perfect but IMO both XBox one and PS4 have done a great job this gen. As I barely see many problems.

The PS4 is the one having hardware problems (shocker), not the Xbox One.  Sorry for your confusion.

It's coil whine as discussed on GAF.

Theres nothing that will harm you system in the long run, however it can get more annoying. You won't notice it most likely outside of the dashboard when your not doing anything.

This is true I just bought an Xbox with Destiny only to turn it on and have it not read the disc but have it sound like its chewing at the disc

such BULLSHIT! so pissed......
