Stopped in Big Lots and they have a special booth featuring DVD season sets of TV shows for $8. Actual products likely vary by location, but here's what mine had:

Chuck S1-4
CSI NY S2
Nip/Tuck S1-4, 6
Gilmore Girls S1-7
Fringe S1-3, 5
The OC S1-4
Friends S1-10
One Tree Hill S1-6
Gossip Girl S1-5
Southland S5
Two and a Half Men S1, 2, 4-7, 9

They also had Angel S1 for $10 and Mission Hill for $5.

Mine never has season sets, just a bunch of movies.  I would buy the bad seasons of Gilmore Girls (5-7) for that price.

Thanks Op. I stopped by because I remember seeing this thread. Grabbed Gossip Girl season 5. I didn't see 6 or 7 but I'll check some other ones.

Was going to grab Season 5 part 1 and 2 of Nip Tuck but then remembered fuck these assholes. I'll just watch that season online, should have put it together rather than splitting.

I never watched Fringe but I'm not sure I want to spend $8 on a blind buy for a season. Might give it a try online first

I thought I was a cheap ass, people here take that to an extreme.

Problem with Fringe it takes a whole season to get to the point,.

Stopped by a few locations,

They are both on a big Two for 14 or 8 dollars each display and some are put in with the regular big lots movies.

Seen

Chuck S1-5

Nip/Tuck S1-4, 6

Gilmore Girls S1-7
Fringe S1-3, 5
The OC S1-4
Friends S1-10
One Tree Hill S1-6
Gossip Girl S1-5
Southland S1-5
Two and a Half Men S1-10

The Southland seasons are a bit expensive on Amazon last time i looked. They have dropped a little, but still a better deal at Big Lots

If anyone looking for Friends missed the complete series deal of the day for 60 on Amazon for 70 you can grab them at big lots. They were all in the slim cases and the complete series is just all the slim cases collected together.

No Angel, Mission Hill, or CSI NY at the locations I visited.

Fringe is worth watching once. Not sure if there's a need to see it more than that. Sadly, it took them a while to find their niche with their mythology, and by the time they found their groove they had to do a fast half season wrap-up.
