With the 12.5% discount on gaming cards at Target this week, I can get

• ALBW for $26.24 because of the eShop sale
• Smash for $34.99
• Pokémon for $34.99

Don't care whether they're physical or digital. My question is, do they usually exclude newly released games from Buy 2 Get 1 free sales, or will this sale be hard to beat even on Black Friday? It'd be $80 for all three + tax.
