Any suggestions for a game where you can build up a world over time, or really just anything that you can keep investing in over the long term? One caveat: I am looking for premium games, not a free game where you queue up a bunch of tasks and wait for the timer to end.
The first thing that catches my eye is Civilization, but I am open to more suggestions. I prefer god games over city management games, but I'm open to ideas.
