Not worth it guys. Seriously, I'm not the type to usually post about how bad a movie is but this is not worth owning. Just go buy two copies of Pacific Rim instead. I don't care if it is pointless and you already own it, still a better choice.

The transformers movies aren't perfect but at least part 4 had more humor in it than the others and I get to see transformers kick ass on screen. I never expect epic storytelling from these bay films so it's all good for me lol

I'll be honest, I went to see it in theaters (nobody wanted their movie money for this lol) and ended up falling asleep  . For a movie about robotic dinosaurs, I found it very dull.

BTW can someone explain why Transformers bleed now?

I don't remember seeing a blood type substance during the film. Mabye they all go to shell gas stations for food now ?

Can't say I blame you. Not sure what humor Straight Edge was really referring to either. There are a couple of funny moments in the pre-robots fighting portion but, well for spoilery reasons it stops being funny pretty quickly. It is a 3 hour movie that should have been an hour and a half. I had a couple free passes from some blu-rays, only reason I went. Glad I didn't pay for it. Only Transformers movie I can honestly say I enjoyed was "Dark of the Moon." The first one surprised us by not sucking completely, but on a 2nd viewing I really couldn't understand what I enjoyed about it. I just went in with such low expectations that when it didn't make my eyes bleed I was happy to call it a win.

I paid only 3$ thanks to the movie cash so Mabye that helped me enjoy it more as well. Either way I'm a huge mech/robot head so these are aimed towards people like me lol. Also people pick apart films too much these days and take films too seriously by looking for flaws. I just sit back and watch the auto bots kick ass which these films do just fine ^__^ now I do agree however that it was probibly 20-25 minutes too long. Hope to see unicorn in the next film !

I honestly feel like I was being generous in my review. I was bored to tears in a movie where giant robots fight each other. :whistle2:/

I looked yesterday evening but can't really find anything. If you search for it online a few people are talking about it, however I can't find anything even remotely explaining why. I don't know if they thought it would look cool or what.

I did find one image:

Interesting, maybe it isn't blood per say but some new fluid that they run on ? Now if it is blood than that's just plain stupid and I hope they don't do it again
I don't know what it's supposed to be called, but it's never explained AFAIK and for all intents and purposes it's blood. Anytime a robot is stabbed or gets an arm cut off or something, that's what comes out (along with the sparks).

I don't know if it was in the 2nd movie, but I've seen the 3rd in 3D and it was used quite a bit there. I am all but certain it's not in the 1st movie.

Besides, everyone knows Transformers run on Energon

Imma watch parts 1-3 again before I get part 4 to spot this. It seems being on earth so long made them evolve into organic lifeforms lol

Well due to the stupidity of 1 in store employee and one Customer Care online employee, I am not only getting a full refund for my pre-order but getting a copy of the movie for free in steelbook no less.   It's gonna be a PITA to exchange if it comes dented though :(

Transformers have bled in other incarnations too.

And honestly, this is my favorite of the four movies. Snip a half-hour/45 minutes from the film and it would have been better.

Thanks for this.  The Walmart price for the 4 disc set was $29.96 this week and with the coupon plus a free $10 gift card I got for something else I was able to get it for $14.96.  It was easier to print the coupon straight from Walmart's site, the one in the link required you to download some coupon program.  Thanks again.
