I thought this version (the live action Depp version) was great.  It was much more epic than the silly cartoon version.  I sometimes get memories of this and the new Oz mixed up, which is a good thing, since new Oz was completely awesome.

I blind-bought DeppAlice for about $4 and had really low expectations.  Quite a surprise after not even wanting to rent it for free at Redbox.
