Star Trek The Compendium is $25 at Walmart

I went to two different Walmarts and notice that the Star Trek Compendium box set is priced $25. Also there is a $5 rebate if your own the previous releases making it pretty good deal for the extended Imax version of Into Darkness Blu ray

This really isn't a good deal man, sorry. You've been able to buy both movies seperately for less money for forever now, and get the 3D version to boot.

Oh, and did I mention these movies suck? At the very least, Star Trek Into Darkness was one of the most abysmal pieces of trash it's ever been my displeasure to endure.

Edit: Missed the part about the extended Imax.... sorry

Don't forget this is the only way to get all the special features of Into Darkness without buying a half of dozen store exclusives.

While it's true that seems like a good price...what the hell am I going to do with my original BR release of the first movie???  I bought the steelbook release just to match it with the second movie steelbook.  I can remove the discs from the steelbook of the second movie and replace it with the IMAX addition but that would leave me still with 2 copies of the first movie (the first release and the release from this version and the disc from the first release of the second movie)

I'd say use it as a coaster, but nobody likes seeing a pile of shit on their table.......

So throw it in a flaming paper bag and put it on the porch or your enemy?

Well, that’s certainly your opinion but the critical consensus disagrees with you:

Into Darkness Aggregate Review

Personally, I loved both films and that’s coming from somebody who has seen just about everything related to Star Trek over the years.

Also, 20 bucks for both films seems very reasonable.
