Sorry if something is wrong in this post as a whole. Not sure if there's a need for cartwheel or a coupon since the ad lists the price as 39.99 but we have 3 days till we get more info.

I'm looking at their feed, and it's not there. Your embeded tweet says it was from the 27th; the only post they made that day was about Haloween costumes. Did you rig this up or did they just delete it?

Target DID tweet this! But looks like it's was deleted or something. It's not in their main feed; as of right now, that tweet is live at this link:

(Had to put a space in the URL or CAG tries to load it in automatically. Just copy/paste and remove the space.)

Huh. I thought if a tweet was deleted it would say something along the lines of "this tweet was deleted/removed"? It's still there technically. I wonder if they would pricematch it if you showed them a screencap? $33.99 seems like an odd typo to me.

I guess I'm still lost. The OP had an embed to a tweet made by Target. The tweet is definitely real and under their account, I'm looking at it, it's just not on their feed. It says $33.99. I'm sure it's a typo, but it's there.

hes just joking and playing along with the fact that this tweet isn't publically accessible without having a link to the tweet.

like Its been said multiple times, not sure if the deal was a typo or there's something more to it since they still kept the tweeted price but just hid it. if it's no deal, mods can move / kill it

Maybe the thread title shouldnt say SSB 34$ at target then

 
On another note, Frys is selling Smash Bros for 3DS for 35, so with PM and getting a $5 GC back, you are getting the game for the equivalent of $30 + tax.

 
Reminds me of the 3DS XL Zelda black friday fiasco, of course the original deal ended up being real, I think this ends up the same way. (game will be $33.99)

 
If it's not the price I will try and price match the game from Fry's if I can, and I have the Pre-Order card too. So hopefully I can get the game for $35 with $5 Target Giftcard. :/

Fry's deal is dead and the game isn't even listed on their website anymore. Given the past few games where they did this, it probably won't be on sale in the weekly Fry's ad either.
