I liked FXI, WoW and PSO. How does this came compare?

My friend had a blast with it for the first few months he played it. But he quickly got bored with it and the exp. penalty you get when you die *really* slowed down the pace of the game for him. Not sure if that's changed since he's last played, however.

Yeah, this game's really cool, but it gets boring fast. The exp. penalty is debt, which reduces your exp. gains by half until you're able to clear all of your debt.
