Have you heard IAMX? It's Chris Corner from the Sneaker Pimps.
You might also like 12 Rounds, Portishead, Lamb, Hooverphonic or Goldfrapp.

Just picked up Full Clip: A Decade of Gang Starr. I feel ashamed how long I've been listening to rap and hip-hop yet I never listened to Gang Starr before. Great stuff from what I've listened to so far

Hanson - Shout it Out. Not bad, about half the songs are pretty catchy. They added a horn section for this and it's more beneficial than a detriment.

Rocky IV score. Just released, this isn't the soundtrack that has been out forever, this is the actual Vince DiCola score. Some totally forgettable filler, but the stuff that is good is awesome and worth the price of admission. A couple of things that didn't make it into the film as well, including a pretty crappy synth version of the Rocky theme he did. http://store.intrada...it.A/id.6605/.f

Flipped my shit when I saw Devin Townsend is releasing his next two albums together later this year. Can't wait.

Absolutely. The remastered album is gorgeous. The improvement in the audio quality alone makes it worth picking up. The disc of demos is really cool but I don't see myself listening to it over and over. The third disc, a live recording from 1989, is amazing.

The whole thing was assembled by Robert Smith and includes his notes, pictures, etc. on the making of the album. Very cool stuff.

Picked up a lot of records this week, as one of the record stores opened up their warehouse of 50,000+ records to the public and were selling them for $1 each. I only got to spend an hour in there before I had to go to work, but I found a few good ones.

Regular Price
Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Lift Yr. Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven
M83 - Digital Shades Vol. 1
Beastie Boys - The Mix-Up
Fever Ray - Fever Ray
Band of Horses - Infinite Arms

$1 each
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - Four Way Street
The Kinks - Sleepwalker
Neil Young - Neil Young
Bob Dylan - Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits
Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin II
The Doors - L.A. Woman
The Who - The Kids Are Alright
Neil Young - Comes A Time

Dead Can Dance - Dead Can Dance
Wormwood - Starvation
Rollins Band - Weight (Promo Tin Version)
Darkest Hour - So Sedated, So Secure

Wormwood's cover of Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me is all sorts of twisted fucked up goodness.

By four o'clock I've discounted suicide in favor of killing everyone else in the entire world instead.

Fever Ray - Fever Ray

Nice! I don't know why, but I dig the shit out of that album. Normally dark music like that doesn't have such "pop" style synth elements. But it works.

If you liked that, you should check out The Knife's "Silent Shout" album.

Frontline Assembly - Improvised. Electronic. Device.

Heard the first half of it. Stupidity is better than I thought, although I wouldn't say it's like a Filth Pig Track.

Next Up: Tribute to the Prodigy.

Fever Ray - Fever Ray

If you liked that, you should check out The Knife's "Silent Shout" album.

Definitely second this recommendation. Fever Ray is actually a side project of The Knife's female lead vocalist.

You guys might like Delphic, too...his album, Acolytes, finally just came out in the US today.

Frontline Assembly - Improvised. Electronic. Device.

Bought that last week, too. It's way better than I thought it would be.

Also recently picked up:

Edge of Dawn - Anything That Gets You Through the Night
Kele - The Boxer
Mates of State - Crushes
mind.in.a.box - RETRO
mind.in.a.box - 8 Bits [EP]
William Control - Noir
