Yeah that's it. It's the biggest volume store in the STL market and is the test program to see if others are going to go 24-hours also. If it's successful, Fenton is next (2nd biggest volume in STL.)

Anyone wanting to get a $20 copy of Rayman Origins at TRU need not go to SC TRU unless they want the Wii version. They were out of 360 when I got there and I bought the last PS3 copy. Supposedly Sunset Hills TRU had 6 copies on 360 left.

That's insane to think that GS needs to be 24 hours. :-s

Sadly I know people that would regularly visit GameStop at 2AM in the morning if given a chance because they couldn't fall asleep or some other inane reason.

Drove to West Florissant TRU and got a rayman for 360, price was 59.99 but the website says available in store so they honored the price, the guy knew nothing about it and was surprised. They still had maybe 4 copies for 360 left as of when I left.

That's weird, SC TRU has a sale sign on it and it rang up $20 w/o override.

It was marked 59.99 and rang up 59.99 they had to have a manager come and override it and match the online price. I don't think many people hit that TRU on west florissant for deals like we are looking for. I told the guy it has been that price for a while now and he still had no idea about the sale.

I played a little last night, it's a fun platformer, I am not sure I would have paid more than 20 for it. It doesn't seem like a game I can sit and play for hours and hours but for 1 hours chunks it might be just perfect.

40% off pizza and bread on dominos.com through Feb. 12, use coupon code 50340 on the site.

If you want the 40% off plus one of their side items (wings, sandwiches, pasta, etc.) then use coupon code 50389.

Anybody know of any local places to get some used business/enterprise level tech? Such as routers (Cisco, Sonicwall, etc), 24/48 Port Switches (HP, Dell, Cisco, etc), Servers (Rackmount or Tower) and such? I need to start building my lab up so I can build up my work skills further without breaking shit elsewhere. I don't think anybody here has any solid leads outside of checking Goodwill, but I figure it doesn't hurt to ask.

Fenton Gamestop WILL be doing a midnight launch for SC V/FF XIII-2 on Monday night. There's only a handful of stores in the area doing it.

Can anyone recommend a good area in St. Louis to live? I've posted this on a few other boards, but I'd like to get CAG's opinion on the matter. We're looking for a rental house. Schools don't matter. Would prefer to be close to the interstate (or to at least have easy access). Do not want anything near O'Fallon as the drive is pretty far to get to the airport/downtown. Where are you guys located?

Clifton Heights baby. Very Close to 44/40. 8 minutes to downtown(55/70). And Mom's Deli/LeGrand's sandwiches.

The old bridge used to be called the new bridge.

I've been living in South County by 255 & 55 for six years, so there's easy access to 270 & 55, plus not that far from IL, as well as not that far from 44. Very happy with the area and have pretty much everything I need nearby.

I know that might be a little far from the airport like O'Fallon, MO, though I've enjoyed being out this way.

Creve Coeur here and it's nicely parked between 270 and 170. Not far from 40 either. Plus Lindbergh is a straight shoot to 70 and 40 in either direction with a decent speed limit, which also takes you pretty much straight to the airport.

Chesterfield here and love it being close to just about everything. Excluding traffic most places take about 15-20 minutes to get anywhere (Airport, North County, South County, St, Charles, and Downtown). Almost any place to live is decent since everything is connected via highways. Pretty much each area has whatever you will need from B&M stores, food places, heck even Malls. Hopefully you find a nice spot!

I am in Hazelwood right off Missouri Bottom Road, I have an entrance and exit to 270 from my sub division that can go to 370 or 270. I work in Florissant so it's convenient for me and I am close to Ameristar Casino where I spend way to much time.

But seriously I grew up in the Dogtown Area of St. Louis near Hampton and 40 and I can make it there from my house most of the time within 20 minutes

Shrewsbury/Afton is where I'm at and it's pretty nice. Honestly the best part of this area is you are right next to the Metro which can get you to most places in Saint Louis and is the only reliable source of public transportation. It's fairly close to all the highways you mention too, you can hit 44 and get to the northbound highway, or head a bit further north and hit 55.

What do you guys think about Ballwin or Pacific?

I've found a few nice 4-5 br homes out that way that seem to be exactly what I'm looking for, space wise. We need at least 2000 sq feet, if not more.

I don't go to Balwin pretty much ever. I have a client in Clarkson Valley on Clarkson Road nearby and the area out there seemed nice. Manchester usually has more things you need and Hidden Valley (Sky Area) isn't far from there if you're into that. It can get crowded as hell though.

I live in Chesterfield, right near the border with Ballwin. Ballwin is a very nice place (other then the fact i dislike their government due to the whole Schnucks at Clarkson/Kehrs Mill debacle). Id personally go with Ballwin over Pacific.

I would go with Ballwin. It is a lot nicer then Pacific plus closer to the city. The only thing near Pacific is Six Flags which makes traffic a bitch during the summer.

Pacific is way out Highway 44 from anything, and as others have stated, traffic around Six Flags makes travel along 44 by there a PITA during the summer.

Ballwin is much closer to a lot of things than Pacific, and I'd certainly pick it over Pacific. A number of my co-workers have been living out that way for a while and they certainly enjoy living out there.

Only day-to-day issue with Ballwin is that traffic along Manchester to get to Highway 270 can be a pain sometimes during the peak travel times of the week. You're looking at being 10-15 minutes from Highway 270, though you're somewhat close to Highway 141, which will give you reasonably easy access to Highway 40 and 44.

Manchester/Ballwin also has high cost of living in terms of apartments. I'd say South County or Fenton would be your best bet.

A little birdie told me EA did not send out a lot of extra copies of Amalur to Gamestop's for non-preorders. That birdie from Fenton told me they have 1 free sell copy on 360 and 1 on PS3 unless they get more via UPS tomorrow afternoon. Similar news with the other releases tomorrow, only 2-5 freesell copies of Darkness 2, Fallout UE, RE: Rev, Jak and Daxter HD, and the 3DS Circle Pad Pro.

Very good to know. Maybe I need to look elsewhere. I'm not a fan of traffic. When I visited recently, I thought the traffic on 270 was an absolute nightmare.

I keep hearing South County. Is this an actual county (named South County), or is it a municipality? What defines that region? We're looking for rental homes at the moment, with a max budget of $2000/month.

South County is of St. Louis County. Includes Ballwin/Manchester/Crestwood/Affton/Mehlville/Oakville/Fenton and many other areas. For your budget, you should be able to find something very nice in any area you would like.

Thanks!

We're hitting a wall really. We can find smaller houses, but I really need something large. 4-5 br at least. Both of us work at home, so we need offices, etc. I'm kind of surprised at how much houses run out there to rent, compared to where I'm coming from now.

270 is horrible during the early morning rush (5-9) and the afternoon rush (4-7) but other than that it's fine barring any type of accident.
