Been a bit since it happened, but Ultimate Video Game Connection now has two locations. We purchased Capital Games in Gahanna, OH. Sign/ name hasn't changed yet, but will be soon.

Work in progress (changing things completely), but check it out if you get a chance.

As always, we give the best trade in town and try to keep our selection right at the top of the list as well as prices.

Will be hosting some game tournaments there in the future, any recommendation on what to do first? I was thinking something to do with Mortal Kombat and have it around the launch of the upcoming MK.

Thanks, hope to see you there :)

I live in Clermont county, just East of Cincy. I have a Japanese Neon Genesis Evangelion 5 pachinko machine I am wanting to sell. Its too bulky to put on Ebay and I would rather have a fellow CAGer enjoy it than some Craigslist reseller. It is the modern machine with the nice sized LED screen as the background and has a robotic Eva that opens its mouth and screams when you get into the win mode. BEAUTIFUL and awesome machine. Also have about 6-700 pachinko balls that come with it. Would like to get $400 for it. If interested, PM me. Thanks!

I live in Chardon, OH (30 miles east of Cleveland in Geauga County) but I go to school at Otterbein University in Westerville, OH (north-side of Columbus).

I like to frequent the only two Play-N-Trade stores in the state, which are located both where I live and where I go to school (Willoughby and Dublin). They have great selections of classic games.

Here's to a great year of gaming in 2014

The last Blockbuster store in Toledo is closing. The final day is planned to be May 20. Deals right now aren't super-great but here's as many as I can remember off the top of my head.

20% off new retail DVD/Blu-Ray
$7.99 for pre-viewed DVD/Blu-Ray
$3.99 for no cover art DVDs
$20 off newer video games
Older video games (most without cover art) are $10

Went in a couple days ago and picked up a new copy of Machete on Blu-Ray, a used copy of Smackdown vs Raw 2011 on 360, a used copy (with no cover art) of WWE Royal Rumble 2007 with bonus Blockbuster-exclusive bonus disc and a bottle of Coke for just under $40. I'll probably wait a week or two until the deals get better.

This definitely fills a very specific need if you have it. The Marc's Grocery (yes, you heard right) has a ton of Duracell PS3 Charging Docks, charges 2 PS3 pads and 2 Move controllers, for $3.

The one I went to is on Henderson Road in Upper Arlington, north end of Columbus, close to where I live. Marc's stuff is VERY YMMV from what I understand, but if you had a need for one of these and always thought $20 seemed silly for a piece of plastic with some USB style connectors, $3 doesn't seem so silly! :)

P.S. - If there's any gamers in the Hilliard area I don't know, would love to meetup and play or trade at some point.

I recently bought King's Bounty from Amazon's downloads and I can't get the mouse/pointer to appear on screen. I have Windows XP and the NVIDIA Gforce 9600 graphics card. Could somebody help a fellow CAG from the Cleveland area?

Don't know why I never posted in this thread before! Ex-Cincinnatian, always west-side at heart, here. I've gone to the dark side by moving to NKY, but only for a year while my wife finishes a residency. We'll most likely return to Cincy afterwards, even though Ky is starting to grow on me ;)

We're both big time board/video gamers. Lately we've been playing a LOT of TF2 (we play competitively), Guild Wars 2, Borderlands 2, Halo 4, Black Ops2, and Orcs Must Die 2. Nice to meet you all!

Hey everyone. This is for the ultimate Cheap Ass. The Cuyahoga County Public Library (ie Cleveland area) is starting to loan video games. The selection is still small since they just started this the other day but still great way to try out new games. I also saw Tekken Tag 2 for the 360, Sonic racing for the Wii U, and some sports games. For other people outside of Cuyahoga you maybe able to order the games to be shipped to your library through Search Ohio. If you don't know what that is, it is a great time to talk to your local librarian ;). Here is what I picked up for 3 weeks.

I remember borrowing games from my local library back in the NES days. :D

It's nice to hear that some libraries are still doing that. I think one of my local libraries does that also.

This is probably overly local, but the Marc's in Brecksville, OH had some (IMHO) pretty decent deals:

Xbox 360 4GB (non-Kinect) - $129
Xbox 360 MW3 320GB Special Edition - $199

Don't know if the deals are elsewhere.

I guess that's part of closeout section -- it was on the endcap right beside their combo electronics/jewelry counter. I'm not super familiar with the stores, we just stopped in because it was their grand opening, and it seemed roomier than most of the older, cramped stores.

They also had a ton of Kindle Fires (I assume 1st gen) for $99, and a PS3 320Gb / Everyone Dance bundle for $199.

Thanks, that sounds a LOT fancier than the Marc's here, so I suspect they wouldn't have it.
