COMPUSA in IRVING, TX is CLOSING DOWN all videogames troughout the store have a 25% discount including the MANAGER'S SPECIALS.


9/20/06: Went to the store today all of XBOX 360 Accesories are 30% OFF as well as all videogames troughouyt the store are 25% OFF


8/25/06: Well just check todays paper and there is a big one page add bout the store being from 20% to 40% off selected items, any CAG that can go please post what you saw regarding video games, THANKS.

This discount will be increasing up to 75% OFF within the next couple of months until the store is out of items, this store will not be participating in the Weekly ADD Deals because is closing down.

But get this I got HALO 2 CE for $19.99 plus a 10% discount and got Darkwatch at $9.99 plus the discount it was 29.97 for all after taxes.

If anyone else go to the store please post the deals they have or if they increment the discount that they told me they will be doing, this also includes all Xbox 360 accesories and games.

I did not wanted to post any prices because they just were in the process to pile the games in baskets for general discounts, but they still have the Manager's Special Deals that will cash out in some games, making them considerably cheap.

The store is in Beltline and Hwy 183, in Irving, Tx

It's a missing feature doesn't mean people should not doublecheck what they write first for grammar and spelling prior posting.

Not everybody cares for proper grammar, the point of the message is clear. Quit being the grammar police. Ack! I cannot believe I said that, I correct people all the time in the past but what can you do? It's a gaming site. If I was an uneducated poster who doesn't know proper English, I might hesitate to post deals if I know people are going to be up my ass correcting me the first chance they get. You take the good with the bad. (Good deal, bad typing) No biggie, thanks for the heads up.

Point taken, I simply try to promote good practices, whether people care about it or not. If more people start to care because of my message, then I've accomplished something good and benefit society a little bit.

well, don't know about the Irving store but the Arlington store has a bunch of games at $4.98.. ones that i picked up Saturday were..

Looney Tunes: Back in Action (GC)
Cold Fear (PS2)
.Hack Part 1: Infection (PS2)
Narc (PS2)
The X-Files (PS2)

they also had 'Del Damage' (XBX), 'Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits; (PS2) three of the 'Lord of the Rings' games (PS2) 'PaRappa the Rappa 2' (PS2) plus a bunch of others that i can't remember now..
 
So when i get off I will first get a paper, look for the sears ad, try to get a cheap HD, then head to irving. hopefully it will be a good day.

All XBOX/360 /PS2/Gamecube/ PSP games 15% off. There is a bigger selection of XBOX games than PS2. A few 360 like Prey and Perfect Dark. I can't remember if there was DS games.

XBOX 360 Core Hardware 15% off of $299. Did not see Pro there.

All game guides 30% off. Not sure if the price matches the register. Most are about 1-2 years old like GTA San Andreas and FFX.

Everything else 5-15% off.

Store rolls their discount higher until closing which is in October.

Discount signs looks like the ones some Radio Shack stores used previously. So wait until the discount gets better before you raid it.
 
Was there today, still a decent selection. All games are still 25% off, and there is a $5 bin with some older/less popular titles.
 
Didn't see any 360's whilst i was there tonight (6/10) plenty of accessories though and games they also had a bunch of crap though and they won't honor any prices that might be on the merchandise if their systems rings it up higher.. they did this to me, i found 2 (10 pack) of Sony DVD-R both packs were priced $1.98 and there is an extra 40% off all blank media.. got to the register and they rang up at $6.99 each - so when i pointed out the price on the packaging.. the Manager told me quite bluntly - too bad that price is a mistake. He wouldn't let me have them at that price - you know i'm so glad that this POS store has gone under.
