So has Best Buy updated their instore prices or is it still $59.99 for LBP?

Just checked a few minutes ago: it's still $59.99.

Does anyone know if SONY adds bonus content and/or patches to their Greatest Hits titles? If they don't, then I'll pick up games in the original cases.

Picked up yesterday:

Fable II - $14.98 (last copy)
Street Fighter IV (XB360) - $9.98 (about 20 copies left)

I wasn't planning on picking up SFIV, seeing as SSFIV would arrive sometime next year (and I wanted it for the PS3), but for ~$10, it would give me a preview of what to expect (for the most part) in terms of gameplay.

First off, thanks to klownin for the BB return policy info.

The price match offer worked when I tried yesterday evening; here's the synopsis:

I walked into the store with the Micro Center flyer and a printout of BB's return policy, picked up a unit and went to the register. Naturally, the CSR said that they didn't match a competitor's gift card offer, so I asked her to bring the manager into the discussion. After a look at the print ad and the printout of the policy, he opted to give me a $50 discount on the Elite, but charge me $50 for a store gift card, so I went ahead with the transaction. In the end, I still paid a little over $300: $249 + state tax + $50 gift card (no tax, of course).

To reiterate what coupegamer (and others) said: if you're unsuccessful, try another location. Also, you can try the same store at different times of the day; sometimes the floor manager who works the morning shift will be different than the one assigned to the evening shift. Sometimes, there are different managers working the weekend. It's a gamble and a YMMV scenario, but for $50 off, I think it's worth the effort.
