In Topic: Dell: $25 gift card with every video game order, 72 hour sale

23 August 2014 - 10:03 PM

I still haven't received the $25 egift card and it's between a few days after the 20 day mark.  I sent a message asking where it's at will take 2-4 days to get a reply.  First and last time I'll shop at Dell.com.  Well, other than my spending the $25 egift card once I receive it.

^Well they're supposed to have ads.  All the ones I've been to do.  Like I said though, Walmart is always YMMV.  Some of the people who work there are lazy and might not want to take the effort to actually do their job and get one if ones not at their register.  You could always call in advance if you don't want to waste your time.  I was going to purchase food anyways.  Anyways, here's the receipt of my purchase.

I didn't read through the rest of the thread, but YMMV at Walmart for price matching this deal for those that didn't get to take advantage of it thanks to resellers buying up everything  a week in advance.

All Walmart stores have the Sunday ads at each register, which includes Best Buy.  Because Walmart now price matches buy one get one free deals, depending on the person you get, it's YMMV.  I was able to get the deal at my Walmart.  The person tries to tell me I'd only get the two $35 games free when I had two $40 and two $35, but I said I wanted to do it in two orders.

The reason why it's YMMV is because Walmart may decide to argue that you're buying one item and getting another item free, which looking at their online terms and agreements is actually correct.  It just depends on the person you get and they might not even bother with that.

Maybe someone should create a new thread on this for those that didn't get the deal and might not see this post.

In Topic: Gurumin (Falcom RPG) free from Steam Greenlight

20 July 2014 - 12:27 AM

It was a PC RPG first.

It was a PC action/adventure first.  It's not an RPG at all.  I know you're not the one who started calling it an RPG, as several above you did, but you corrected  them about it being on PC first so quoting it because of that.

Amazing game though, one of the best on PSP imo.

*edit*

I was just on the Greenlight page again and saw that they listed it as an action RPG.  I guess that's where all the confusion is coming from.  It's not one, though.

Amazing deal. This was never on sale on Origin or in the Humble Bundle before.

Sarcasm right?  Because it was on sale and one of the pay the minimum games on Humble EA Bundle.
