I wasn't willing to pay to see this movie (right choice) and I certainly wouldn't pay $80 for any version of the film.

Jesus you're an entitled little piece of shit, aren't you?
Damn dude, that was a joke. Hence the "lol" in there to help indicate that.
I know, this is an outrage. Calling GS customer support right now. They will not get away with lying
Least I think you got my joke...
Yay for this little promo. Got $10 worth.

Are you guys going to pick up your Pre-orders? I'm debating what to do with my Microsoft gift cards (besides waiting)
I fully intend to pick up all 4 of my pre-orders using my gift cards. If nothing else, Microsoft Store earned this business by having an awesome deal and just being awesome when I went to bring in the games. I'd much rather buy these 4 games for $10ish out of pocket each then spend $48 to get $10 certificate at Best Buy anyway. Once I'm done I'll trade them in to Best Buy to put towards buying other games.

I scored big on this deal this weekend. Not only did the MOA store let me trade in as many as I wanted (I think about 30 all set and done) but the manager also apologized for the wait, since my clerk kept getting pulled aside. The manager told me it was Christmas and to pick any game on the wall, I got Watch Dogs, he threw in a live 12 month code and a $50 xbox credit. Can't beat that. The main games guy there gave me his card and told me to email him with any questions or needs. Great customer service.
The main gaming guy told me he was able to convince his manager at that location to take as many as people had to build good will with gamers and to make them think of them as a destination to purchase and trade in at. Good call.
Yeah, that guys was pretty awesome. He's why I got to trade in 15 yesterday too.

Definitely glad I went back to MOA today. I did 5 on I think Tuesday as was told very bluntly only 5 per person so I had only hoped to get 5 more today. I brought in ten of my own personal games that I probably couldn't get $10 for combined on eBay. Guy told me I could do more than 5 but I had to do one pre-order per 5 and I told him "fuck yeah." So did all 10 there. Went up to Best Buy to trade in Amazing Spider-Man 2 for almost $30, then over to gamestop which had been cleaned out but I managed to find 5 more $1 games. Brought them back down for one more trade. All told 20 games, $10 spent buying flips, 4 games preordered with $10 down and $160 in gift cards remaining.
On my way home I decided to stop at a GameStop down the street. Found seriously like 30 $1 games that qualified. If this promo was still going tomorrow and I wouldn't have had to fight the MOA parking ramp again on a Sunday I would have totally snagged them all up. Just couldn't motivate myself to do so. I'm already basically getting 4 games for nothing on day one already.
Halo: MC Edition (Really didn't want to pay full price for all the Halo's again)
Sunset Overdrive (Plan to use the $10 gift card from pre-ordering this one towards another game)
Alien: Isolation (looks so good but don't really want to pay for an Alien game based on the last few attempts)
Star Wars: Battlefront (another one I want but probably wouldn't pay full price for)

Some people still have this showing but for most people this offer expired on the 5th, which is why the thread I started is several pages back now.
Not going to delete the below comment because I got a little snotty and deserve to No harm no foul.
Also, gotta love basically copying my OP but changing it to his referral link and adding the team bit (which is new, and everyone who signed through me is welcome as I got them $1 more in June thanks to the Microsoft Store offer glitching and giving me $10 when I only spent $60).

Th9is sounds great but I am very worried the MOA store wont honor the deal. I don't have internet access on my phone so I cant pull up the site or anything. I also take the bus so it will be a bit of a ride to go down there to make the trade and to risk getting shot down. I would love to be able to go there with ten games and get 100 bucks. If anyone has any more success there, let me know.
I traded at MOA today. Long painful process but a process that resulted on me having a $10 pre-order and $40 gift card. I would say though you won't get 10 in one trip there.
First off, they are doing them one at a time so you have to sign paper for each one and it is crazy long. Also, only one guy seems able to do it and clearly he doesn't even know it all that well. He was trying to teach others how to do it but very few were really paying attention. There was a lot of confusion amongst the staff too. Felt bad for them, they clearly had no idea they were going to have to learn this new part of their job, no training or heads up, and it's been really popular so they've had to grasp blindly and do so quickly. Anyway, the guy also was very clear on the 5 per person thing. I'd say if you get the same person twice there you will not be able to trade in either.
Some poor guy got there right after me and had to wait for my entire trade in to be completed because no one else could figure out how to do it.

Couldn't find where it was said, but BestBuy only keeps track of your trade-ins by ID and not by RewardsZone ID, correct? So if a friend wanted a 10% bonus, he could use my phone number when they ask for it, and he should receive the 10% and I would receive no penalty if I wanted to trade in the same game at a later date. Am I correct in this? I thought this is how it was (people having others trade in games for them with their ID yet using the other person's RewardsZone ID) unless they changed policies again.
Trades are tracked by Licence ID# not RZ account. When I was banned I had my sister/friends trade in games for me all the time and use my RZ info to get the 10% bonus.
I would think when the name on his drivers license doesn't match the name on the screen (After putting in your phone number) most BB associates would question the discrepancy. But I have no first hand knowledge if this is true or not.
They don't care. People share RZ accounts all the time.

Just traded in Wolfenstein for $38.50. I'll live with my 94% completion til I can put more time with Uber difficulty. The glitch didn't work for me so I didn't want the value to go down on the game. This platinum will be mine one day. The game is very good and I liked the character J a lot. What a crazy trip.
Wolfenstein really was fun. I see this being a $20 game in no time though (single player only problems) and will pick it back up later on. For now, I've played through it, enjoyed it, Paid $48 - $20 certificate - $5 gift card and Traded it in for $38.50. I'm happy.
Good flipping opportunity if you have a Toys R Us nearby that has stock. Phinneas and Ferb: Quest for Cool Stuff on 3DS is now $6 (70% off) and trades in for $14 before bonuses. Used a $10 shopkick gift card yesterday to buy two copies (paid $2), walked next door and traded them in for $30.80.
No one has really mentioned it but they are also doing the 10% rewards back when you use your MyBestBuy Credit Card all month too. Those points add up quick.

I've personally seen these in two places, in some stores they are in "The Spot" when you first walk in (that place with all the cheap crap). I've also seen them in electronics, but only in stores that didn't have a "The Spot" area - or stores that insist on putting a plastic prison on every game regardless of price.
Only notable one I've seen is Singularity for PS3 for $5.

Heads up for anyone going to Gamestop or planning to price match elsewhere. They changed the weekly ad to remove the Wii-U version of Angy Birds and put a big ass noticed for the employees that there was a pricing mistake and that it has been corrected and not to honor the $9.99 price (when an employee looks up the item this popped up). Since I was there I still grabbed a copy of Wipeout to turn $10 of free Shopkick money into $18.70 in free Best Buy money though.

I would go pick up the extra two games
Because if you let it expire you would miss out on your $10 reward cert.
If you are just trying to remain low, let it expire and the funds will go back to your giftcard
Why pay $50 to get a $10 certificate when he got the game for free?

What? So I can trade in more than 3? This makes no sense? Isn't it 3 for both? Trades and purchases?
Also can I be banned for buying 4 copies with GCU?
You can't buy 3 of the same title with GCU. Example AC4 ps3, 360, and XB1 is 3. You can't buy any more or you'll risk getting your whole account terminated. That includes Elite, etc
The 3 trade limit is still the same. You can still do 3 AC4 360 and 3 AC4 PS4, etc..
This is correct but I think maybe this can be worded better.
With GCU you can only buy 3 copies of a game regardless of the platform. For example, if you bought AC4 for X1, 360 and PS4 that would count as your 3. The system does not automatically prevent you from doing this and no one really knows what will happen if you go over or how much you have to go over to get yourself banned.
When trading in you can trade in 3 copies of a title per platform. So if a game is available on 360 and PS3 you could trade in a total of six copies (three for 360 and three for PS3). If it was also on Wii-U that would be 3 more copies you could trade in. Etc.
Oh okay. So answer to my second question? Can I be banned for buying 4 copies of a game with gcu? Or does the system prevent it? Can I buy 3 for each system.
