Posted by TXboxGuY on 14 August 2014 - 12:22 PM

Just picked up a Grade 6, Xbox360 S, 320GB.

$130 +Free Shipping  ...came to about $141 w/ tax.

I got the ONLY Grade 6 and it included a controller.  There are just 1 each of a Grade 5 and Grade 4 with controller.

Everything else is Grade 4/5 with NO controller.

Wake up, fellow CAGs!  :D

Oh wait, I do see one other Grade 6 but NO CONTROLLER.

I've not seen any of the 250GB S models that have included a controller since last week.

I know those are $100 with promo code Xbox5081414 here ....  http://www.cowboom.c...roduct/1297239/

Most Grade 5 or lower NO controller and some without AC cords.

#11885190 $60 Xbox Live Credit for $40.

Posted by TXboxGuY on 01 July 2014 - 12:11 AM

Shiet, it's a good deal but what the hell would I spend it on with 360 winding down and no interest in One? If they made hard drives more affordable, I could actually buy something but I'm stuck with a 20GB and don't want to delete anything.

20GB really?  Even with less than $20 you can easily just attach a 16 - 32GB flash drive that would more than double your usable storage.

#11782996 1000 ($10 Value) Free Amazon AppStore Coins with Download Of These Apps

Posted by TXboxGuY on 23 May 2014 - 03:23 PM

also: something I bought (maybe the actual Appstore App?) gave me a $1 MP3 promotional credit :)

Last week I heard that the Chopin: Piano Works (VoxBox) MP3 at Amazon was giving out a $3 promotional credit for the App store.  That's 300 coins.

I actually paid $0.99 and, in a few hours, I had the e-mail notice about my promotional credit.

I went back and looked through my digital order invoices and saw that my purchase of GTA: SA used less than 699 of my coins balance AFTER it exhausted the 300 coins from my promotional credit.  :D

#11780582 Amazon Appstore for Android: GTA: San Andreas for FREE (Thursday, 5/22 thru ? )

Posted by TXboxGuY on 22 May 2014 - 06:16 PM

I "bought" the free apps 10 minutes ago on my Galaxy Note 2 but the coins aren't showing in my appstore promotional credit. Is it supposed to take a certain amount of time, or is this supposed to be something you get by buying it on an Amazon device?

I'm not 100% certain but this isn't a promotional credit.  You are instantly given the points in your account.

Try clicking on a paid app.  It will show cost and your Coins balance should show near the Buy button.

#11196984 Mountain Dew & Doritos [XboxONE promotion]

Posted by TXboxGuY on 06 November 2013 - 03:03 AM

Well I'd win one right now but my fucking bid wont go through. Or if it did I cant tell.

edit: nvm was immediately outbid. So it's only showing 1 point more than what the previous bidder put in.

That's called PROXY bidding.  The person's high bid wasn't showing.  You only saw their bid which eventually put them at the top.

When you submitted your bid the system incrementally placed a bid higher because the high bidder still wasn't at their actual max bid.

#11195978 Mountain Dew & Doritos [XboxONE promotion]

Posted by TXboxGuY on 05 November 2013 - 09:39 PM

really lost at how this is working, why are the auctions going for 10 hours, when does the every 2 min auctions start, is it at 9pm tonight untill 2 am.

I knew that was going to confuse people.

ALL of the auctions open at the same time each day.  2:01 a.m.  Eastern Time.

The auctions don't end until after 9:00 P.M. the same day.  That's where the every2minutes comes into play.  Each of that day's auctions are going to close one after another, every2minutes.

When all the auctions are CLOSED, then it is time to OPEN  a new day's set of auctions.  ....

...and once again, those will start to close some 18+ HOURS later, again 9:00 P.M. Eastern time each day.

#11102472 Xbox Banning Discussion

Posted by TXboxGuY on 01 October 2013 - 07:10 AM

More facts about my MAIN ACCOUNT & CONSOLE BAN.

I was banned on Friday, 9/20.

My Account is stored on a USB flash drive and has been for months now.

My time stamp for the "marketplace theft" violation was in my e-mail BEFORE my alt. "offending" account was e-mailed and banned.

They went after my main account hours before the Rayman "foreign" account.

My account is also SILVER and has been since mid-July.  I have 14-day trial codes that I was using as needed.

My account is on a flash drive because I'm routinely switching between HDDs.

I use an old style phat Xbox that I purchased in 2012 -- refurbished (cowboom) ....  haha, I just realized I purchased the 2-year protection plan.  Hmmm.
