Lol I love the Vegas talk. I guess I'll put my two cents in. Everything has mostly been said. You can have an enjoyable enough time just walking up and down the strip checking out the free shows (Bellagio, M&M Factory). If you're hungry, food is everywhere. If you want to see a show, every casino has some. I recommend anything to do with Cirqu de Solei. I've had the pleasure of seeing most of them and they all are rather fantastic. Blue Man Group is always fun, but can get pretty expensive. If you do choose to see a show, make sure to visit the many discount ticket kiosks.
Fremont Street can be a lot of fun. Free light show every 15-20 minutes (get ready for a Jimmy Buffet explosion) and and there is usually a free music show of sorts here too. In the area is the Penny Arcade, something any CAG should love. Although the name isn't exactly true, it's just a nice bar with lots of arcade machines. What's not to love?
If gambling is what you seek, I'd recommend going off the strip and going to one of the many station or coast casinos, especially for table games. My last tidbit of advise is if you want to play some variation of table poker (Hold em) and you're just a medicore player...don't. Most strip casinos (mostly Cesar's Palace and Mandalay Bay) have seasoned players that wait to take your money. If you understand a lot of basic hold em principles, you might be fine, but I'd avoid the cash games altogether.
I got immediate buyers remorse as I made a rather rash decision. I called the Microsoft store 15 minutes after I placed my order and was unable to successfully cancel my order as they said it was already scanned for fulfillment. So, it seems like these will ship. Guess I bought myself an Xone lol
